Dusty, thinking of you and yours, what a day.

I managed to clean the radiators etc in four rooms before DH came home. Have since cooked tea and watched lots of telly.

    See you all tomorrow.

Hugs dusty hope you and your mum have peaceful evening x

And hugs also to valli hope you are managing ok without your student lovelies x

We've been out all afternoon, but I did a HH tidy once the kiddies were in bed. Much to everyone's disgust I won the bowling. Hilarious, after my 7th go I was behind and had something like 55 points, it was pitiful. Then I got a strike, a spare and another strike, lol. I've no idea how it happened I'm so rubbish (unless it's on the wii haha).

Then poor DS got himself in a state - I said I'd pay for 1 ride, and he could use his own money for another (he still had to "borrow" 30p). So he had two rides on a bike / car but DD used her second lot on the bouncy castle. Which obviously lasts longer than a ride, and he was devastated. Bless him. I did suggest the bouncy castle, but he'd already hopped in the car and wouldn't get out. He was so upset. Am I mean to stand firm? I'd already paid for bowling, dinner out and one ride. One man passing quipped "I'm not sure I could stick to my guns so well!" - not unkindly, lol, think he was impressed I'd not given in. I just said "oh it wouldn't end there, it would be the trampolines next..." Anyway. He seems to have recovered now (DS, not the passing man, lol)

I digress. I've not done much flying. DW emptied and gammon defrosting for Sunday lunch.

    Buenas noches!

Bossy.. you did very well to stand your ground.. it is hard not to give in when they get a wobbly lip going and full on guilt tripping.. well done to you !!

I have emailed a friend who is a lawyer about KH.. I did ask if he had a friend who worked for free :p I'm really not happy with the whole KH situation at the moment and don't know what to do for the best.. my sister did criminal law so she is useless and he did financial but being based in Manchester might have a friend he can ask.

skinty speedy recovery and healing vibes to you
Bossy I'm not a parent, but my mum did the same with me when I was little and stood firm. It taught me a lesson (a good one)

My bedroom has been painted! The kitchen has been wallpapered and the front door painted

Tomorrow I will deep clean my bedroom and put everything back. I'm too tired to do it tonight, was up late last night applying the first coat, then up early to let the decorators in and managed to paint the second coat before going to my crochet class.

    Goodnight all

    Deco x

Wow! Fun run sounds cool. I have done lots of races but none yet that involve paint! I bet it will be an amazing experience!

If I get the chance I will post some pictures, but it may be the end of next week. But in 2008 she was bedbound and in constant pain, so this is one major achievement...

Nearly lost it in Morries; there weren't many tills open when I got there and the girl serving me had been at dancing with DD and asked me how she was/if she had gone. But I managed to hold it in. Funnilly enough been fine at home. I could have queued at a differnt till - but a longer queue! Also have handed in her wahsed, ironed (obvs) uniform.

    (((hugs)) Dusty
    .
House is V. tidy. have stripped my bed and made it with my bargain duvet set. Have managed to clean kitchen and bathroom, declutter DR and clean it so house looks MUCH MUCH better. Will strip DDs bed tomorroe and remake. Apparently they cushions need to go back EXACTLY as they are.

    Morning all

Thanks for your lovely messages. Woke at 5 and DH snoring so I'm up, he is shattered so did not want to poke him.

I'll text Mum and se if she got any sleep, it didn't look like a restful ward. I must get some laundry done in terms of school uniform and DH's stuff and look atsome data for tomorrow's meeting.
