The hopsital visits have started again....
We had a call to go and see another surgeon, so off we popped.
The results have come through from the last biospy - the mysterious lump is still coming back as inconculsive as well as the bowel sample....
But...
They took cells from the ulcer, unfortunatly its stomach cancer.... to say it was a shock isnt the word, i'd got my head round the bowel/lung saga... but this floored me to say the least.
They want him to have another ct scan (weve got one booked in for next week), so there review that and see where we go.
There is surgery - but whether that is a viable option we dont know, if the bowel is cancer (not cureable) but they dont know if he is strong enough / whether its a viable option due to the pre-existing missing bowel / size and location of the hernia.
I know before he said he didnt want another operation and the oncologist said that re bowel etc - and hernia they couldnt operate,
the most weird thing was I went back to bed yesterday as had a migraine... woke up with such a bolt - I dreamt I was writing a facebook post - saying with regret etc - the date was 29th April time was 4.30... whether it was a premention dont know, but I have these incidents before and been right...xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Hi I currently get my illeostomy supplies from Securicare, but am having problems with their lack of communication.
Can anyone please recommend a supplier of these products that they feel does a good job with communicating with them.0 -

My husband has been using Charter for his supplies for nearly 6 years and they've been absolutely 1st rate. We can't sing their praises high enough. They're very friendly, helpful and most important of all very efficient. Highly recommend them.0

Another hospital visit oncologist 1st thou it felt like a wasted visit as the ct scan was booked in for later on.
Apparently the blood test was all OK, know more when we get the results from the scan, were hoping that the lung and bowel hasn't grown as present its manageable but the new cancer is the issue.
Its hard at home as to be totally honest its not sinking in to mum, not helped by dad being slighty evasive, as for dd, she's been an angel xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
I'm so sorry that you are all going through such awful times, but can well understand your mum, from past experience. When awful things happened, the mind will sometimes do all it can to blank out what it fears.0
