We made it to feed the ducks, even got a parking space, (miracle as it was busy), about 25 mins from where we live.
He really enjoyed it, and DD did, we fed them from 3 different points, one part - this goose wouldn't move = expected personal service...
My DD was the best... there were feeding the ducks - this woman came along literally stood about 2 foot from where we were. right in the line of bread chucking... she was very posh... commented about having seeds etc, so DD pipes up, while were feeding them bread from Waitrose, (she moved....- we didnt say it was the essentials range).
Stopped at Starbucks enroute home, it was a lovely day xxxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Bread isn't good for wildfowl and it also pollutes water.0

We had a fright on Friday, we had the doctor out as dad was being sick - I was on the school run when he came - had a call to get home they need to admit him to hospital, my daughter came with us, at first they didn't really know what to do, one doctor said its nearly 4 weeks since you were given the diagnosis - you've done well... then another doctor (doc no 2)- bless his heart he was looking at scans etc to see if there was anything he could do (as he said the best had tried and no go - it was worth a try), the general verdict from doc 1 was go home or the hospice...
About 9pm waiting for the discharge notes - doc 2 - comes back - as dads still drinking, eating bit, is still fully functioning... they would put him on a drip overngt.. It was so hard leaving him there.
Sat morning he rings home - there letting him out in the afternoon... when we got there they had attached the 2nd bag of fluids - the improvement overngt was 10 fold, he looked a 100 times better.
Home and emergency supermarket trip - rice, tapioca and semonila, yogurts, jelly, - home made soup on hold at the mo...
Today we had a morning out, went to a falconary centre, only small you'd done it in 10 mins, its part of a development, museum, farm shop and posh cafe... we stopped for a wonder around, then drink and icecream.. We sat outside the weather was beautiful.
I know were going to lose him sooner rather than later, thats always at the back of my mind, trying to make things special.

You've had quite a time of it. It must have been scary when he had to go into hospital. The time out sounds lovely. Making memories. Take caeLost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

We haven't done too bad, he had a sickie bug last week, bed bound, by Sat we'd had enough - so demanded that he get himself out of bed, stop feeling sorry for himself (he has now said thank you.... thou at the time, not a happy bunny).... Since then he has done well.
We missed last weekend trip out, partly he was in bed Sat (sick bug from thurs), and DD went on a ghost hunt round the town, one of her friends bday, - she loved it.
Sunday he was still shattered from the bug.
He's now started eating more food, theyve upped him to 2 steriods a day - made a massive difference, if you didn't know he was so ill, you wouldn't know.
The Mcmillian nurse comes out once a week, she was impressed with how well he is doing.
Planning a couple of trips out after Easter, day up the coast, throu to coffee at MacD's.
He's found a new love of reading, been reading ghost books based around out town/county, He's had a couple of books previously, so been a mad rush getting him the rest.
Bournvita went down really well, so just ordered another 2 jars. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
