I would say that describes Napier and their owner! And if it's libel then he can ask mse to remove it, and try to sue me
A shyster /ˈʃaɪstər/ is a slang word for someone who acts in a disreputable, unethical, or unscrupulous way, especially in the practice of law, politics or business.

The last part auto corrected on me
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

I would disagree with you. Having now read the PPP thread I am more inclined to believe Mr Savary's version of the incident.

Doesn't matter either way as long as this OP wins at POPLA. Two wrongs don't make a right, and the very existence of PPCs for profit, is wrong, like ambulance chasers and PPI reclaim firms - all parasites.

But there is more to this board than winning at Popla. People come on here and embellish the truth, withhold facts, misinform us, and tell downright lies. Are you saying that, because there is a common enemy, you should help them avoid the consequences of their actions?

I for one have difficulty with bilkers, BB bandits, and those who, in blocks of flats, park in others' spaces and clog up visitors' spaces with second cars.

Yes I suppose I am - consequences being, would I rather help them beat a litigious PPC at POPLA stage or leave them to be sued for a minute or two's parking. What makes you believe Mr De Savary's employee over this Poster, is it just because Mr De Savary is educated and plausible? How does he know what his employee saw, what observation took place or whether his employee hides to catch people. And because Napier write nasty intimidating letters (I have seen them before) they deserve to lose at POPLA for that alone, IMHO.

Parking companies' income isn't a proper business nor service and I have zero sympathy for them even if they have an MD who can reply in a grammatically correct way - I am unimpressed. There are plenty of posh suits in life and they are not somehow better than an ordinary person parking a car for a minute.

Perhaps I am a snob CM, but literacy, education, and especially plausibility were the main factors in my decision to back Mr de Savary.

I thought so - I am not so easily impressed. Literacy and education are important in life, I agree, but plausibility means nothing at all. Look at some politicians. Just because they've been taught how to debate, what sort of suit to wear and how to come across as the good guy does not make it so.

You do not "leave your registration" when you are photographed by ANPR cameras.

Strange then that the Police were around to the person I know 3 times in less then an hour! Psychic Police now I assume.

Or maybe the person left his VRM on a camera image? I know which one I think happened.

As for the OP's 12 second ticket if he did purposely decide to park and not pay I agree he "bilked! the owner, for 40P. Hang him/her!

There's a disagreement here regarding the definition of "leaving your VRM". I agree with TD that an ANPR camera capturing a VRM does not mean the driver has left the VRM - just that it has been taken.

Thank you bod. I was beginning to think that I was the only member of this forum who had studied English.
