Our clintons and card factory have had them out for a few weeks! I think as soon as the exam congrats cards went. Have most of mine already though...bought them in the jan sales.
I bought mine in August:D for some unknown reasons clintons was selling boxes off for 49p, happened to walk past and there was a group of people around the cards, so being nosey had a look and saw the price and bought a few:D0 -
I absolutely hate the dark mornings and evenings, makes me feel really down and depressed. I don't mind the cold especially days that are bright but frosty but other than that I don't like winter much at all.
I hate winter clothes (jumpers in particular are horrible), I hate the wet muddy walks with my dogs, I hate the muddy floors from my dogs going in and out of the garden, I hate having the heating on (I really hate the expense of the heating), I hate having to use my tumble dryer to get the washing dry (and it doesn't smell as nice as when it dries outside). The world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0 -

Not bothered about Christmas though, most of it passes me by.
Winter is ok, because it means spring is round the corner which is also very lovely. Cold crisp sunny winter days are fab.
I'm a end of summer/cusp of autumn baby.
I love this time of year too especially September. Whilst I like sunny days, I dislike the heat, can't sleep properly in summer and can't decide what to cook for dinner when it's hot!! My daughter (9) is the same only she truly dislikes summer! She was born in winter and I was born late spring so I guess we mess up the theory.'And our dreams will break the boundaries of our fears'0 -
I'm a winter baby (January) and can't wait for those long dark nights to be over. I hate Christmas and all the bling and fuss that goes with it. I don't like snow. So I guess liking the season you were born in definitely does not always apply!
My favourite seasons are spring and late summer.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
Once the swallows have departed it's all downhill for me. I can live with winter if there's sunshine and a bright blue sky. It's the grey sky, sunless days which depress my mood and make it difficult for me to function efficiently.0

I love autumn events and Christmas, but I cannot abide early dark nights and mornings. I've lived in this country all my life and still do not find it 'normal' for it to be dark earlier than 8pm. Dislike low winter sun too, which I find can be hazardous when driving. Take away those 2 aspects, oh and being able to line dry still and I'd enjoy every season.0

The "-ber" months are my favourites too!
Summer is too hot and humid to get on with jobs. I'm feeling better each day now it is cooler (apart from the spider influx at the moment!)0 -
This is my favourite time of year but summer isn't over until Sept 21st, the autumn equinox. September can often be a lovely monthLost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

Summers over? Says who?! Not up here it isn't....and I live in Cumbria which isn't exactly renowned for it's excellent weather! It's been about 20-21 degrees here today.0
