If you have managed 3 days, put it in your signature now. Tell us about the mess when you can, as the other posters have said, we will not judge, just help with the next steps forward.
I am not well atm so I have been making sure to note what I have achieved during the day. Some days it's only something small but focusing on what I have done rather than what is still to be done helps me. I am following a couple of diarists who have mental health problems and know others with unwell spouses. For some people every day you manage to get out of bed and get dressed is an achievement.

Thank you all for your support. It does mean a lot and I feel a little bit better about it now. I know it's only money but there are so many other factors to consider. ..
I am keeping a diary on my phone of my daily progress. It focuses on my urges and thoughts / emotions and I believe it's helping.
As much as it makes me laugh, washing jeremy kyle shows me inspiration. He is an ex alcohol who got through cancer. Now he is pretty well off and doing good. That should be me in future. :rotfl:
Here to a bright and happy Thursday.Saving for that dream holiday0 -
So it's day 5 according to my diary!!!!! :j:j
Payday today so transferred all my SO, DD and debt money to the invisible account straight away. Also transferred my half into the joint account and it leaves my own current account looking very low.. which is actually good. I have about £180 to last me through December which I would say is more than adequate.
Next step is to pay back the payday loan as early as possible. It was only taken out last week but I want rid of it asap. I know whats it's done to my credit rating already so like I said, fresh start. Probably my 4th attempt since running this diary but we don't go through life without hickups :rotfl:
On the other hand, I did find an extra £10 in my wallet yesterday which is always a bonus. Used it for fuel and topped up the car.
Staying late in the office tonight (no overtime though) to complete a few things for my boss. My hours have been very flexible recently as they always expect me to stay late without payment, so I now start later
Hopefully in the next week I can work out my finances properly (once I pay a few things off and get money in i'm due).
It feels good being back, I do have to say...

So it's day 8 today :j
Not spent anything over the last few days other than fuel. Unfortunately the old banger drinks it like no tomorrow. Just as well I'm not doing many miles.
Last few days have been good, had some family time and did a few things which have been on my to do list since moving in :rotfl:
Had an issue with the car insurance DD, supposedly the bank didn't set it up properly and it hasn't out thr last 3 months. Yesterday I had to pay the full 3 months along with this month's coming out as a DD. So that was over £100 and not an expense I needed.
Nice to watch Great Briton wining the Davis Cup
Again, thanks for your kind words and I hope you are all doing OK on this bad weather.
