I am LOVING this thread, even though I've only read the first and last pages so far - will read the rest later on.
how about a nice smelly candle? Rescue Remedy or those cold gel pads to help with stress headaches (from Boots / chemists)
Thanks Deely didn't think of those will have to add to my list. Hopefully she finds it a wee bit of fun0 -
Have copied below from the Grabbit thread - thanks to Joanygq for the original post (Grabbit board, B&M bargains thread)
"Noticed my shop local to work (Westwoods) had loads of American sweets in. FAR cheaper than Spar/ Mace etc
Big bags of twizzlers 340G for £1.99
Double size babe ruth bars for £0.89
Peanut butter M&Ms and other flavours for £0.69
Seen these in other shops for well over £2 each

Loving all the ideas
made my first lotnof hampers last year for christmas and they were very well recieved.
this year im thinking of making my nan and gramp a hamper, I was thinking as they are into wildlife, I would do a hamper themed around this like a wildlife watching theme; I was thinking of getting a wildlife, maybe birds themed book, birdhouse, something to eat for them (thinking peanuts etc as my granddad has diabetes) and stuck on what else, has anyone got any ideas?
Also thinking of doing cosy night in hamper; hot choc set, chocs, wine, fluffy socks, photo frame, slippers, (dont want to do dvds as cone this last year)
Anyone got any other ideas? Thanks0 -

identification book and pen
maybe one of those tall tower things that you hang a birdbath, feeders, etc from?
Insect houses,
dogfood (to feed the hedgehogs)
details of any local bat walks or bird identification walks (our council rangers do a few of these, all free of charge).0 -

Ordered some cellophane for my hampers now, so will look at putting them together properly in the next couple of weeks. I think I am happy with them, though if I do see anything little bits that are appropriate, I will likely end up getting them to throw in.
