AdditionWOW they all look amazing....
I,m doing a cooking hamper too, I,m using a stainless steel colindar to put the bits in.
I,ve also bought basic brown parcel paper to wrap any prezzies in with some thick red ribbon I found at a Church Jumble and brown card labels with buttons stuck on to make snowman shapes or snowballs.
Any other interesting ideas welcome.
PS Peppapig - love the bedding.....Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Found these great baskets reduced to £1.12 in Morrisons that are the perfect size. Just got to find something to put the third in - that is going to be a cooking hamper, with new treats to try in the kitchen, so I think I might spend the extra and buy a decent pan to put it all in.
Sweet Hamper:
Mainly American sweets, like the Peanut Butter M&Ms, picked up when I've spotted them at decent prices. Also got a few extras in there, like the Banana Crisp Dairy Milk as he loves that.
Total spend so far: £8.77 [including the basket], RRP (going by the average cost to buy things like the Nerds over here) around £18.
Tea Hamper:
Harder to save money with this one, as the Whittard loose leaf teas he loves are very expensive. I did manage to get the tea-caddy for free though, and to save some money on the enamel mug, so that's not too bad.
Total spend so far: £15.61 [including the basket], RRP £24.45.
Cooking Hamper (work in progress):
I am picking up interesting cooking bits as and when I see them. This is the one I think would be good arranged in a decent saute pan or a wok. So far, there is salsa, spice/herb pot, chilli dressing, a Thai curry mix and an assortment of relishes.
Total spend so far: £9.15, RRP £22.58
Most of the other presents are already sorted and ready. I've not started wrapping them yet, as I like to settle on a style/theme and I haven't come up with one I like yet lol.
At least these little hampers will keep me occupied. I love wandering around the shops looking for bits and bobs to put in them.
Ooh these look really cool - brilliant job! Where did you manage to get the American sweets for such a good price?0 -
Progress so far:
Completed
'Girl's night in' hamper (for honorary DD) - still needs cellophane and bow.
'Pamper' hamper (for DDIL)
'Man' hamper (pamper hamper but for a man lol) for DS
Still working on
2 'Some Like it Hot' hampers - spicy foodstuffs not the Marilyn film lol.
Love these Peppa!Looks like you're really getting organised for Christmas.
I have to admit that I love to wrap EVERYTHING on one day close to Christmas, I sit on the floor, surrounded by presents, wrap and sellotape with some yummy sweets, a good drink and Christmas films. Usually takes me the whole day but I really enjoy it. Plus if I wrap things early (obviously less of an issue when wrapped in clear cellophane) I often forget what I've bought:rotfl:0 -
Fiery Angel, I must admit that I hate wrapping presents! I'm quite happy with hampers and cellophane though. I've bought almost everything, so will hopefully get myself together enough to start wrapping.
Hezza, for a driving hamper, how about a hamper of car wash stuff, wax, sponge, etc? Look out for chocolates that are shaped like cars. Maybe add a Yorkie bar (some of us are old enough to remember the original adverts, where Yorkies were advertised by truckers). Driving cartoons printed from the internet. Morrisons had erasers last week, shaped like wheels with thick tyres. They were reduced to 18p. A pad and pen might be handy, especially if you can get a car themed one. You could add a CD of driving anthems. A keyring and driving licence holder are traditional gifts that appear in the shops at this time of year. You might also find a diary and calendar with cars on.
If he has a particular interest, such as the dream of driving Route 66, google for gifts. There are Tshirts, licence plates and other stuff on Google.0 -

I found a plate, dish, sports bottle, and sandwich box in the poundshop. I'm adding a pair of fluffy socks (in case her feet are frozen!), and I'm looking round for other stuff. I managed to get a bottle of bubbles from The Works with a 'Frozen' design. Pens and pencils aren't any use, as she has special needs and uses thick, triangular shaped ones. I'm hoping to find a pad of plain paper, bracelet, or something else suitable though. She has the DVD, and her grandma has made her the dress (shop bought ones don't fit, as she is quite tall).
I'm thinking of popping it all into a hamper lined with pale blue fabric, possibly sparkly. I have plenty of cellophane, and can top it with a large blue ribbon.0 -
That's great Spendless, thank you. I can pop into B&M later today, and Poundland later this week.0

I really want to make my mum a hamper this year but struggling slightly to think of ideas for a "theme" or maybe I could just do an unthemed one  She's hard to buy for - allergic to soaps & perfumes so I can't buy anything like bath products, makeup, skincare products etc. She also has a gluten intolerance & is vegetarian.
I found this scarf on Amazon which has great reviews & is only £1.58, so I might start off with that as she likes scarvesAnyone got any other ideas to add to it?

Hi Smoosh - I made my Mum a "Tea Time" hamper last year, I got matching cup, saucer and tea plate from Dunhelm mill, added a matching sandwich tray (the small ones not the full size ones), teabag holder, and tea towels. Found some coordinating tea spoons on eBay. Then added some boxes of Twinings teas (in flavours that she would not normally buy for herself e.g. Earl Grey, Assam, Darjeeling etc - they has 3 for 2 at Tesco's at the time) and some posh biscuits & chocs (you can get GF ones anywhere these days). She loved it£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

I'm loving this thread and pinching loads of ideas! Progress so far:
SIL - Gardening hamper: gloves, tool set, kneeling pad, handcream, nailbrush, coffee mug all in pink/floral patterns. On the lookout for some seed packets to add for wildflowers or something similar.
Niece (student, living @ home) - chocolate & coffee addicts hamper: chocolate iPhone, Costa travel mug, novelty chocolate doorstop, coffee mug, mini whisk, mini grater. Still need to get hot chocolate & coffee sachets, will probably add an Amazon Kindle voucher as she carries her Kindle with her everywhere
Trying to find items for a "driving" hamper for BIL (who is a driving instructor but also does other driving jobs). I've got a Costa travel mug but I'm struggling to think of other things apart from driving gloves. Any ideas welcome!
Have a great, inspirational week everyone!
