For the campervan, what about some 'glamping' type decorative items? Some nice cushions or just cushion covers, plus some bunting to go around etc?

    Love this idea. Thank you!

  • Thanks for this, i managed to get a tub or two! in my p.land, fantastic size. They also had smaller and taller ones in mine @ 2 for a £1.

    Hello :santa2:

What section are they in as the Poundland near me is quite big so it takes a good while to rummage around lol?

I spotted Monopoly socks in Poundland this morning - black socks with the Mr Monopoly character in various situations printed on the side. Great if anybody is making up a board games themed hamper. HTH

  • This may have already been mentioned but I didn't notice it. If you have several of a similar hamper to do then try getting multipacks and dividing them up. I have 4 nieces and two friends' daughters to buy for, all of a similar age. Last year I made them all "girlie" hampers. A lot of cosmetic items come in packs of three. I got novelty lip balms (pots with lids that made them look like ice creams), Boots did a three pack of brightly coloured nail files, a box of those little bath pearl things, face packs, pink novelty pens and pencils. I also bought a couple of bags of chocolate coins to scatter in the hamper. I bought the hamper (gift box) and tissue paper from Instore for around £1.50. I did buy each girl a pair of fluffy socks (about £1 in Instore) and some nice gloves from New Look (around £4) Each hamper worked out at just under £10 but looked like more.

Does she have long hair? You could maybe throw some bobbles and hair grips in there. Or some sectioning clips. How about some sachet's of deep conditioning treatments?

Poundland have some argon oil hair treatment and how about one of those towelling things that you wrap your hair in when it's wet (Poundland, Home Bargains and B&M all have them)? Pretty shower cap to keep hair dry in the shower? Good luck :)

This is genius! As well as doing their 'main' gift I'll be making a gift bag or 'hamper' for a few people so this thread is a godsend!
New to this money saving lark. Any tips greatly received.
