it is reckoned that a car is the next most expensive thing a household buys.
Unless they're into yachting!I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0 -

Sorry I've not had chance to reply to this thread but been out on the road the last couple of days with work and had no time. I will try and reply in the next couple of days to any questions but just wanted to say thanks to all those who have taken the time to reply in a helpful and pleasant way, whether it's the answer I was hoping for or not.
In amongst all the stupid comments and micky taking it's nice to read the odd comment from a normal person, rather than those who have followed others with pointless attacks and tried to impress other members with their put downs and sarcasm. No better than a group of bully's. I guess the forums have changed since the below rules were written:
Please be nice to all MoneySavers. That’s the forum motto. Remember, the prime aim is to help provide info and resources. If you don’t like someone, their situation, their question or feel they’re intruding on ‘your board’ then please bite the bullet and think of the bigger issue. A Guardian article once "doffed its cap" to this forum as being the one place where consumers can collect together and fight back. Our job is to help keep it that way.0
