Take one rocket... stick it up your bottom.. FLY!!

    nope.. that failed too...

Parts ordered for the boiler.. fixifying on Friday afternoon.
Sofa and single bed heading to DS1 at the weekend :) I WILL have some of this house habitable.

Waiting for friend to send her charity collection van round.. I have 3 large boxes and 4 binbags at the moment ready to go!!

Tomorrow I need to dismantle Tiddles bed and get it to DS1's. Shift EVYERTHING in the room to the space then vacated and OH need to erect one of the bunks for Squeak .. or I will.. I quite like doing such stuffs.

I then need to remove ost of the gubbins out of the back room for the chairs to go in there.

On Friday OH is being sent to woodshop to buy new wood for the roof of the shed.. it leaks massively and I have precious type stuff in there.. I need a drip thing for the back door too, ours is rotten and hanging off so I need it replacing before it gets snowed on.

The new cat flap needs putting on too.

Moomin is at hospital tomorrow afternoon so I need to collect her at 12:45 straight after her lunch.

The weekend is being spent shuffling chests of drawers and sorting toy boxes in the girls room... I feel the need for beer!!! HAHAHA

  • Thank you for the welcome backs <3

No bossy moving house is my priority, so I don't have the time. If it was closer I would have gone. Cake looks amazing, little miss moo is in for a treat :-)

Went to bee & que, got wallpaper and paint for the door. Going to get the carpet fitter to put some vinyl down in the shower room. Dump run done too.

    Anyone else watching bake off?

  • Hello flyfriends

Thank you all so much for the positive vibes for DS's exams this week - we've not been able to concentrate on much else so flying has been minimal. He's done 5/6 - 3 very good, one ok and one sh*t, he's expecting no. 6 to be sh*t also but I keep telling him he has a big brain and of course his mother's many positive attributes :) so we shall see. As long as it gets him into uni yr three...

All the photos are lovely :T

Welcome back deco  - I've added your challenge to the list.

I've given myself the day off today, apart from S&S kitchen and WMx2. Took DH to the railway, drove into the market town and managed to buy some nice black trousers for choir uniform, then celebrated at a local garden centre caf! with one of my friends - just a very small cappuccino each and we shared a rather large slice of exceedingly good carrot cake, so not too much damage I hope! After a quick SW "free" lunch I went off to our nearest NT house where I have volunteered as a room guide, minimum one day a fortnight (and I shall try to stick to the days when DH is on the railway), starting next week. That should be fun :)

Otherwise I have not succeeded at flying - but for once I don't care, as I had a lovely day :D

Have thrown sticks for your BD into the Big Pool at the NT house, skinty - hopefully will tire it out ;)

    Good luck to daddyroys tomorrow.

Morning all, paperwork for me this morning as its pay day. Then I'll see what I can do from the list.

    Have a great day everyone.

Paperwork done, fresh fruit salad made, time for gym and shower.
Spend less now, work less later.
