Happy Birthday, Miss Moo!
Today:
- S&S
- 1 email
- 2 phonecalls
- printing and laminating
- sort out travel insurance (DH is the worst procrastinator ever)
- food and other shopping
- mow the lawn
- HHI
- choir this evening
Not setting myself any other goals today as I'm afraid of not even achieving these few bits, and I desperately need to get this list done so that I can get a good run course materials over the weekend. I am going to hit the shops early at M€rry H€11 (which I normally hate, but it has the only decent M'n'S in the area) and hope I can escape well before lunchtime.
Back later - hope everyone has a good day x0 -
Morning all
Happy Birthday Miss Moo
Bonnie fingers crossed for paper 6, hope he finds it easy
Off walking with one friend this morning and then meeting another for a cuppa. This afternoon dusting/paperwork and baking are on the cards. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning all! Found out yesterday we're at the top of the list and now have the choice of 2 allotments! We're going to take the one that isn't so overgrown and is, I think, a bit closer to us. I'm thinking working on an allotment will help with mindfulness etc but have told J and the kids I am NOT going to be solely responsible for it; it's for all of us to enjoy, not me. So today have to speak to Parish Clerk and reserve it. My other jobs are:
Ironing
Hand in S’s asthma form to Mrs Franklin
Luxurious Living Room, hall and stairs
Pick things up off the floor, make sure those stairs are safe.
Vacuum through the living room, hall and stairs
Dust standing objects including electrical items - no electrocutions please!
4.10 S to GP
7.00 Z Scouts
Also got some paid stuff to do and want to walk Whiz. Doing pretty well with my September challenge; haven't had any 'bad' food and eating proper meals plus getting exercise.
Miss Moo happy birthday!
Have a lovely walk Dusty; are you feeling better now honey?
Ionafan your lists always look so big and I'm always impressed you get so much done!
Deco think J is planning to do sloe gin this year; he did it the other year and it went down very well!
Greent I bet you'll find you get a lot done today as it's sooo much easier without the kids around! Mind you I found I sat around just listening to all the lack of noise on Tuesday!!
Best get going and get S to school; bye for nowFlymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Morning
Thanks for the birthday wishes, Miss Moo is on good form today. She had advised that I "may call her queen" and she's going to x-ray my foot to see if it's got bones in !?! How random!
We are going to @ldi this morning (thanks mrs mp for the heads up) then to the local shopping centre for a cafe treat and a birthday balloon.
Need to get some washing done and bag packing. Plus a toy pick up. So lots to get through while entertaining the little lady.
Ooh an allotment mumof2 how exciting!Bossymoo

Morning all
Happy birthday to Miss Moo
Good luck to your DS Bonnie
Dinner is in the SC (veggie sausage casserole)
Today's plan of action:
Bedroom fling boogie
Put bins out
Another dump run (I'm there so often, I feel like I should get a high vis jacket)
Ring carpet fitter
Go to Tosco
Plus fly from some of the list the lovely Natty has done for today.
Long may this productivity continue!
Have a great day all

Ionafan your lists always look so big and I'm always impressed you get so much done!
Some days I do, but I don't need to clean everything every day, many days are procrastination disasters, and you will often spot the same things appearing on consecutive lists (or dropped off the list very quietly when I really can't face putting them up yet again )
This morning's early start was scuppered by my forgetting that the clockmaker was coming at 8.30 to get the grandfather clock working again. Breakfast was 40 minutes late and then DS2 rang to tell me that DG6 is due in March :j so I've only just had my shower and got started again.
Enjoy your allotment! I will make room for a few veg in pots next year. Adrian Mole has reappeared overnight and left another molehill in our lawn  Need to buy more garlic.0 -
Busy today..
