Two hours done and I am ready for a cuppa but got to pick ds1 up in 5 mins so a quick update and will grab a cuppa when I get back. Another load of washing in. Lots of decluttering and extra hoovering. Top floor looks beautiful! Bathroom sparkly and even cleaned outside window ledge which was grey and not white! Bathroom clean and clear except a small pile on the bed, ensuite sparkly too. Ds 2 bedroom has had a quick tidy and a Hoover so looks better but not done properly. Landing clear and all put in the loft. My challenge is half way through being tackled, started to sort the Christmas presents so they are in piles, next job is to write a list and a budget to see who is done!

    Hello!
So late this week, had my 3 nights but am back in on Friday. I have 4 extras this month- should be getting my kitchen fund kick started nicely :).
Am not achieving too much with pup but she's lovely. Currently zonked by my feet. We got rid of her crate as she was howling and soiling in it all the time and was very unhappy. Now she's happier. She's going for quite good long periods of time without needing the loo too, so it's all good :).
Kids just back from school and now need to rush dd off to her piano lesson. Also need to find a trumpet tutor for DS.
    Must dash!

Kaz well done on dispensing with the crate; some dogs love them (I had a 7-year old guest who still used a crate, it's his "safe place" and he takes himself off to it when he's tired) but some don't like them at all. Give her bags of praise when she toilets where you want her to, and you'll get there eventually.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Today I have:

    Unloaded & reloaded the dishwasher
Had a general tidy up of the kitchen & wiped the sides down etc.
Taken out & cleaned each shelf of the wine rack thingy
Emptied, sorted out & cleaned the fridge
Wiped down cupboard doors in the kitchen
    Cleaned the oven
Hoovered the kitchen & living room
    Washed the kitchen floor
Cleaned all surfaces including windowsills in the kitchen & living room

This evening I'm going to bake my birthday cake & pop to Tesco to find some decorations (saving the actual decorating for tomorrow) & dye my hair.

Saving the rest of the rooms in the house for tomorrow :)

I've caught up with the washing up except for a huge pan, colander & a now empty storage tub, S&S'd the kitchen, done another wash, just about to put another in, and looked through the k133n3z3 catalogue which arrived :D

I can't believe how much I've gotten done today! Now I'm going to attempt to rehang the curtains & put the net up in the livingroom after having newspaper up at the window for the past month or so! I just hope the rod stays up!

  • LW, you would be good company for my DS. 4am is an early night for him. Oh and I think we should have some sort of new kitchen support group going. The plasterer has just rung to say he has a cancellation and is coming 8am Saturday to start the ceiling!! I havent moved a thing yet and tomorrow is pretty much booked up.

Congratulations for OHs new job Mummyroys. Just made a batch of scones and off to hoover upstairs. Yes I know I should be boxing stuff up in the kitchen really ..... I dont want to do it though ....

Right been AWOL as DD2 took the laptop so battery ran out and I haven't been bothered to plug it in to charge, therefore my house looks neglected. Plan is to catch up tomorrow after work.

    Tomorrows list

    S&S bathroom and kitchen
    hoover through
    mop floors
    strip our bed
    Ironing
    Dust lounge
    Post uniform bits back
    HH paperwork purge

Of course this will all probably go out of the window and the dog jumped off the sofa and started hobbling, front right leg. Currently curled up next to me panting away. Have given her pain killer from when she injured her back so hoping that will help and that she has just jarred it - I expect it will appointment at the vets tomorrow though.

Pets and kids its one drama after another!
