It worked! Ok, a very small hole under the base where it stuck, but it's not deep, and it's the underneath. Hurrah!
When its cool I will scoop out the middle and add smarties (it's a piñata cake) then I will decorate the top! Phew!Bossymoo

i swear getting my room straight is going to get my BD taken to the BD Whisperer........if I can't get it straight by tomorrow my house will be infested with squirrels as I will be stark raving nuts!
Going to spend HH gibble shuffling to the DR - seeing as it is out of action I might as well sling DD1 and DD2 Uni stuff in there.....I will hoover my BR today if it kills me!
Welcome back Deco! The cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Tired. Have done paid stuff, taken DS to his appointment, walked the dog, sorted some washing and done a bit of ironing. Going off to swish and swipe the bathroom then thats it for me. I am behind with job number 2 but hey ho. Wont be late to bed tonight.
DS made a very unusual looking chicken pie for tea but it tasted lovely. I told him that pastry is tricky and it takes a bit of practice! Needless to say that I was the one that cleaned up the flour explosion.0 -
Feel like I've not stopped today. Youngest first day went ok. Eldest is being sick. Middle one has been turfed out her room so eldest isn't in top bunk.
Good news though is after 13 month hubby has an interview.....tomorrow while eldest of sick argh....my step mum will come till I get in from work which is great of her.Have a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0 -

Welcome back Deko. Glad the cake worked out ok Bossy.
Right, where to start.....finished the paid stuff and have only just sat down (apart from wolfing down tea)...walked dogs, been to shop, helped DH make tea, helped DH deal with injury when he fell over (tripped over the bath towel), helped DH after he spilt red wine on the sofa when he nodded off, washed up, got the washing in, watered the plants etc etc...grass still not cut.
It must be time to read the paper before bed and it all starts again and the paid stuff is manic, new job already seems to have started and they haven't yet sorted who's replacing me....
Nite nite x
And good luck to Mr mummyroysof 3 for interview tomorrow.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Hi, haven't done much from my list at all today but hey, doesn't matter, had a good day. Me and DH had a really good chat to my pastor about my mental health and ways he can support me (DH that is). Then I did some paid stuff followed by a very healthy lunch and a really good walk with Whiz. Got back, bathed Whiz after having to do the horrible job of making Pip vomit cos she'd found 1 single square of Green & Black's 70% dark chocolate which is lethal for little dogs like her so had to pour salt down her mouth to induce vomitting. Nice. Picked up S, Z got in after another good day and then I made some chocolate fudge brownie cake which was luuuuush!!
Yorkshirelass how old is DS? Pastry is one of the things I can do cos my hands are normally on the cold side! I don't go by what things look like anyhow; I go by taste so even if something looks very strange I don't worry.
Dancemum what sort of car have you got? Not very good sixth form haven't got their timetables sorted; hopefully when he gets in tomorrow they'll be available and he'll know where to go.
Bossy glad your cake turned out fine. Glad littlies had a good day too.
Dusty Z just handed me her timetable so I'll put it on the fridge so I'll know about PE and tech; great minds think alike! Sounds like your DS is being really useful, there's definite advantages to them being older isn't there!
Deco I remember you, lovely to see you back. I only came back last week too; must be the time of year.
Going to tuck Z in and then bit of paid stuff before I collapse on the sofa; feeling tired now.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -

Mumto2 yay for a good and yuck about Pip
Bossy fab cake
Tired out now but have done a lot of physical things today so having alittle tipple then I'll put DS3 to bed, read to him and then read a bit myself before an earlyish night. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
