Well yesterday was a great day for me after joining SW 14 months ago and loosing 2st 13lbs I hit my target :D

I think now is the hardest part, trying to stay there.

I just wanted to ask the target ladies on here if they upped their healthy extras, allowed extra syns each day or had a flexi day each week to maintain their weight. The booklet they give you is a bit sketchy and doesn't really tell you what to do

    Tracey

Oh well done Tracey, cant help with maintenance still struggling to lose my last 2lbs to get to target. Hopefully Mammon will be around later and she will put you right.

WELL DONE TRACEY! That's amazing! I can't really help with a SW staying at target, as I've never done SW before... to stay at target after dieting of any kind is kind of hard though, I think you have to prepare to accept half a stone either way type thing... :D

I lost 3.5 stone 5 years a go, a stone has gone back on in the last year, but I kept it off (within half a stone) for 4 years so it's doable!
Started SW on 18 August 2014 - Total Weight Loss 12 lbs :T

    Hi all

1lb loss for me this week. Not amazing but going down.

Had a fab tea tonight - SW special fried rice. We used the prawn fried rice recipie in the fakeaway book and added in cooked chicken, half a gammon steak (kept the other half in the freezer for another time), and some spring onions to make it more special fried and it was delicious. Definately no more takeaway chinese for us.

can I be cheeky and ask for the recipe please?
When I joined this challenge last month,I said the family and I were in the midst of an ongoing crisis, which was going to have some serious ramifications for us all.Very relieved to announce that today, very unexpectedly, crisis is over :j.Life resumes for us :j:j

So,no excuses for straying off plan.Fortunately,I am in the zone at the moment, anyway.Long may it continue.

    Today's menu:
Breakfast: ham, eggs, beans, followed by an apple and 1/2 mango
Lunch: 1/2 mango-this was not the plan for lunch, but with the sudden turn of events, was too excited to eat,and had phone calls to make
    Tea:lamb steak,baby potato,peas,carrots

Will have 2 Alpen light bars before bed. Will have had my 350ml skimmed milk
bet the Relief was immense, glad there's a good outcome from your crisis x

I've been at target for 9 years (give or take a few lbs), the way I do it is 'try' and stick to SW during the week and more relaxed (read eat what I like :D) at the weekend. Have to be careful sometimes that the weekend doesn't become longer than the week :p but otherwise works for me. Currently on lower side of target (just) :o.

Have you gone green with envy> oh sorry you are already green. so what colour do frogs do for envy?

They go a pinkish-beige a bit like humans, and no I am not envious as that is a very ugly trait and I'm not the least bit competitive anyway so quite frankly I'm so over it.

A shiny sticker arrived in the post today just for me. It was because I was SOTW apparently, I hadn't noticed that. Beanie I shall love you forever. Thank you xxxxxxxxx

I find all this talk of girls at target really motivating. I can't wait to be in that club. When I was slim I used to be good all week, then be naughty at the weekend just like you said TIE. I guess the trouble with me was that weekends last for 6 years in Frog Land which is a bit of a bummer. I think I may have to think more like a human this time.

Forgot to tell you another little victory in my quest to be normal. I threw away the notebook where I wrote down all my food. Normal people do not do that. Felt like a weight was lifted. Mildredd and I are really trying at this normal malarkey.
Although Mildredd has no hope as she's totally bonkers!
