Today has been all about avoiding cake....
Hubs brought home chocolate brownies and bless his heart, brought home a chocolate meringue for me (as we'd had meringues last week in the eton mess he knew I could have them, aww), then mum brought round a massive slab of her gorgeous Carrot, walnut and sultana cake (surely that must be healthy, all those superfrees) THEN we picked DS up from rollerskating party and there was a huuuuuge chocolate cake.
I'm V proud to say I had the tiniest slice of carrot cake and that was it whooo
Today was:
B: Toast, marmite, flora light and 5g of peanut butter on half of one of the slices (2).
L: Salmon, melba toast (3), crab sticks, lettuce, melon.
S: Tiny weeny sliver of carrot cake (2.5)Chinese chicken noodle soup (loads of veg in)
S: VODKA... ALL THE VODKA (2 actually but you know, split in half to make 4)
Chuffed with myself (but all the cake is in the kitchen, I can't go in the kitchen) :eek:Started SW on 18 August 2014 - Total Weight Loss 12 lbs :T

Hi all
I try to stick to one 'naughty' day a week. I haven't upped my HEX's because that for me is a sure fire gain. I am good most of the time thoughI've not yet gone over my target. I'm currently at the lowest end of my target and don't believe I've exceeded 1lb under in the 8 weeks since hitting target. My Mum struggles with her target but Im glad I called as I seem to have settled at my natural weight

Long way to go for me before I get to target but it is an interesting question. I think I will find it far to easy to slip back in to my old ways so will have to have a really good think about it when it eventually happens.
EE for me today.
Breakfast, 2 x aldi cereal bars (the ones we can have for HEB) fat free yoghurt, banana
Lunch - super speed soup, apple.
Tea - chicken, veg and noodle stir fry, aldi greek style fat free yoghurt
snacks - apple, melon, another apple and more melon, mug shot
HEA - skimmed milk in cuppas
HEA - 2 x aldi benefit light? cereal bars
SYNS - sauce on stir fry 2, tassimo creamer pod 2 - TOTAL 40 -
This is almost as good as someone saying you look good...
Standing in the queue at Aldi waiting to be served with all my food on the belt when the man behind suddenly says, "Ha! I knew there had to be something bad on there." and points at the 1 item I bought for my hubby - Tunnocks Caramel Wafers. Everything else was fruit, veg and yogurt.
I felt quite pleased that someone was impressed enough to comment.

I think I spent most of yesterday trying to reclaim that abnormal loss.
Cold lurgy - viral blurgy is kicking my enthusiasm to do anything.
Well done tracey12 on getting to target. It's hard to stay in that 3lb either way bracket.
TIE I think, thanks to your post I spotted where I have been going wrong with my own efforts to stay in target. It is very easy to replace the efforts to plan meals with other things, and so the planning takes a back step to 'life' Sunday used to be my make meals for the week day, or make something snacky within syns allowance day. Now it's slob around the house day coz cba day! Times are a changing.0 -
Hi All
Well done to everyone who lost. I forgot to post last week but I gained1lb
This week since Thursday has been much better food wise so hoping to stop faffing around the same weight like I have for the last 4 weeks.0 -
Morning, and bright it is (for a change)
Happy to report a 1.5lb off please Shala thanks for the chart :kisses3:
Been a busy few days, with the referendum and work and home life.
I will have to catch up on quite a bit of washing today. Planning to make lentil soup in the slowcooker as well.
I have tried the mint Muller lights and didn't like them, I prefer the toffee one or turkish delight.
Funeral of my husband's cousin tomorrow. They weren't close but dreading the "the family you only see at funerals, looking me up and down to see how fat I am" comments, can't wait for that be over. I am not going to let that be an excuse to fall off the wagon.
oh well, better get another load into the machine, have a good Sunday, well done on all the losses this week. Come on, lets make this a fantastic week.0 -
Morning all, woken up feeling totally wiped out, think it's hormonal which means a 2-3lb hormonal weight gain just in time for my first WI tomorrow!! I'm a bit gutted but will just need to take it on the chin, apart from the bottle of champers on Friday night (28.5 syns btw!!!) I've been really good so I know I haven't mucked it up myself.
Was planning to go to the gym today but unless I feel better I'll be going no further than the couch with the Sunday papers!!
Today is EE:
B: Fried egg (done in frylight) quorn sausage, beans and slice of toast (HEXB)
L: Leek and potato soup, fruit and yogStir fry with loads of superfree veg
Loads of fruit and yogurt but no syns today, try and claw back some of the damage from the drink!!
Have a great day all xxxx0 -
Shala - Happy to report -1.25lb this week :j
Fell off the wagon a smidge yesterday and had a fish supper from the chippie for dinner but the only other thing I had yesterday was mini weetabix for breakfast.
Well, falling off the wagon for one meal in about 9/10 weeks isn't too bad I don't think.
Drawing a wee line after yesterday & back on it today
______________________________________________
Green Day
B: Mini weetabix & Milk (HEB & HEA)
L: Not sure but maybe frylight eggs & beans (free)Steak, salad, boiled egg, cheese & a bit of salad cream (HEB, free, free, HEA & 4/5 syns)
