Tweets, there's a BMI calculator here
http://www.nhs.uk/Livewell/loseweight/Pages/BodyMassIndex.aspx#people
I can fill it in for you but I'll need to know your weight and age. Then it'll give me a range of "healthy" for you.
I have to say, BMI for me, is dreadful, currently it tells me I'm obese, have 3 stone to lose - and I'm wearing size 12 trousers...
It also tells hubbie he's 3 stone overweight, he doesn't have a pinch of fat on his stomach, can wear skin tight t shirts and look good, but is 6 foot 5, big built and muscly...
It is a guide though... Other than that, I don't know what to suggest...Started SW on 18 August 2014 - Total Weight Loss 12 lbs :T

Today has been....
B: 1 slice of toast (first time in my life I've only had 1 slice of toast for brekkie I think  ) marmite, 5 g of peanut butter on other half, flora light (2), banana
L: Other slice of toast, 2 x poached eggs, 50 g of smoked salmon, mushroomsBaked salmon, courgettes, mushrooms, peppers, yellow tomatoes, baked corn and roast potatoes.
S: Meringue with choc on outside (3 for meringue) guessing at 2 for choc)
S: Toffee mullerlight (or if I'm feeling really snazzy I might try an after dinner mint frozen one  )
I can't help much with the breakfasts I either have marmite on toast (all week) or some kind of eggs at the weekend... not very exciting, but then I've never been a big breakfast person!
Edit: I've just had to claim another half a syn for a bite, like literally an inch square, of DS' choc cakeStarted SW on 18 August 2014 - Total Weight Loss 12 lbs :T

Hi TIE
http://www.slimmingworld.com/recipes/special-prawn-fried-rice.aspx
Here is the base recipe we used.
We just added in half a cooked gammon steak cut into half length strips (if you know what I mean) and some cooked chicken we have from a bag from iceland. We added it in at the same time as the prawns as we used cooked king prawns not raw ones. We also added in some finely slice spring onion at the end of cooking as we both love it and it gives a nice 'bite'.
The only thing I would say is when you make it make sure you cool the rice down very quickly under the cold water as instructed and then make sure it is piping hot before you serve it as rice can be a bit dodgy if you don't cool it and heat it properly.0 -
Had a busy day today and did not sit down until after dinner - so much to do at weekends.
Made a pot of syn free mushroom soup for lunches and a tray of mushroom and bacon quiches for breakfasts. Just got to organise dinners now. Have got fruit, carrots, cherry toms and cucumber for snacking on. So should be fine for the first part of the week.0 -
I must try the mushroom and bacon quiche! Maybe I'll do that tmw, if I can find time
I have to go to the Pain Clinic tmw and then I have to do a workshop thingie for people (yes I feel as vague about this as it sounds) in the evening
I have to say Maisie, although you are certainly correct, that rice can be dodgy as hell, I've never, ever, ever rinsed it under cold water before making fried rice, I just put it straight from the hot saucepan into the hot wok/frying pan... (I'm still alive!) I wouldn't leave it in the fridge for over 24 hrs as that's supposed to be tres dodgy...Started SW on 18 August 2014 - Total Weight Loss 12 lbs :T

A bit late , but late better than never :rotfl::rotfl:Yes I got the pm thanks0 -
Flat eric I have eggs a lot for breakfast, overnight porridge, yoghurt and fruit.
Breakfast - eggs, turkey slices, cottage cheese
Lunch - cottage pie and caramel sundea!
Tea - pork roast with loads of veg and gravy
Snacks - apple, banana, melon
hea - cheese on cottage pie
heb - not had it!
Syns - well spent 15 minutes in food queue at costco - got to front and they had no jacket pots. So got a cottage pie. Will be syns in the gravy and counting the tiny bit of cheese as my hea. Then had a 1/3 of a caramel ice cream sundea and gravy on my tea. Over syns but only had 4 yesterday so not worrying too much.0
