I'm so glad for you Wiz!!
You are an inspiration sticking at it and not giving in. I really admire you!0 -
:T Well done Wiz :j
Didn't have a good day yesterday. It started with a full English breakfast (inc toast marmalade etc). Then I had no lunch or tea, so was absolutely starving. I couldn't be bothered making anything so had a binge. I had bag of Sainsbury's savoury popcorn, an alpen light and then stuffed myself with gluten free chocolate fingers and 2 caramel freddo's, oh and a Sainsbury's bakewell trifle thingy which I'd bought for son's packed lunch. Saturday wasn't too good either, I 'treated' myself to a scone with jam & cream and for dinner I had a seafood risotto, which I expect had cream in.
Green Menu:
B: GF cereal & BD milk. Coffee & milk.
L: Mushy pea curry & rice. Tea & milk (if I have as breakfast was quite late).Turkey & pasta bake. Banana. Tea with milk.
BM: Callanetics.Weight loss 0/2st

Got back from holiday yesterday afternoon and seem to have done nothing except washing since I got back - final load in machine now - should be finished shortly and I'll get that out on the line along with the other 4 loads I've done this morning! That just leaves 3 sets of bedding to get done tomorrow - need to get it done as it's forecast rain on Wednesday.
Well the last 3 weeks definitely haven't been on plan especially the french bread every day!
I'm back on plan now and hoping to rein it in between today and Thursday morning's WI.
Green day today:
Planned:
B - scrambled eggs on toast (HEB x 2)
L - jacket potato with beans
D - HM butternut squash & lentil curry with rice
Actual:
B - none
L - scrambled eggs on toast - HEB x 2
D - butternut squash & lentil curry with rice (curry cooking in SC at the moment)
HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day.
Washing has finished - just need to go and hang on line.

L - pasta bake (0.5hea) salad
T - stew, mass loads of veg, little bit of meatcouple of bread instead of dumplings (heb)
S - crisps(4.5) milk (0.5hea)

Good morning everyone, I feel much better today I. Have lost a pound this week it's not a lot I know but it is like a pound of lard or fatty bacon. or a pound of potatoes.:j
Hopefully next week will be even better. :T :T
Delighted for you wiz.:D
Good to see you back denise. I'm sure there's heaps of BM in all that washing!
I'm back from my weekend away. :T to everyone posting losses, especially tracey for getting to target. I've been at target for just over three years now and I agree with you it does need trial and error. Personally, I tend to eat out quite a lot so then I have off plan meals but eat SW when I'm at home and in control of the menu.
I think it was meg posted that Oats so Simple are on offer in Iceland. It might be worth getting them in for the winter as the original, fruit muesli and honey multigrain sachets can be used as a HEB. I have ordinary porage but for anyone needing something to eat at work I'd imagine they'd be good.
Food over the weekend could have been worse. MY SIL served up fairly SW friendly meals but I did have puddings and far too much bread/croissants. However the line is drawn now and I'm staying mostly on plan until Saturday when I go away for a week. I am out for a meal tomorrow evening but I know it's a pub that does steak and jackets so should be OK there.
I can't fit in a food shop today and DH doesn't seem to know what time he'll be around to eat so very scratch menu for me. Probably Green.
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, baked beans, HEA milk for teas
L: lentil and veg soupegg & chips??
Syns: scrape of spread, maybe HP sauce0 -

Thanks Meg and everyone else, it's the encouragements that keeps us going, without it we would be. As Frazer in dad's army would say '' we're doomed, doomed ''0 -
Wizkid1, Congratulations on the loss!
I'm just joining in, coming back around after super success in my 20s with Rosemary Conley, followed by moderate success with SW in my late 20s, which I then decided to quit due to getting a very active lifestyle that kept me skinny (plus, our leader changed and though she was a lovely lady, the new one was a bit "Margery Dawes" - had regained all the weight she had lost and then seemingly a lot more; I think she was losing heart, tbh). I then had to try again in late 30s and went to WW. Was doing pretty well at that until my mom died and emotional overeating took over and counting seemed a faff. That was nearly 3 years ago, and everything about trying to get back on track seems pretty hard. I just don't have the same burn-rate as I used to. It's not bloomin fair!
So, as I write I am aching all over from a bike ride yesterday of about 18 miles, that left me seriously out of puff. Someone in the office has made a lovely cake and I haven't had any. I am trying to muster some enthusiasm for the rest of the afternoon. Mind, my lunch was pretty nice.
Today's menu:
Breakfast: scrambled egg, baked beans and boiled mushrooms
Lunch: Pasta with courgettes, mushrooms, onions and passata with herbs.
Snacks: Tea with semi-skimmed milk HEA; apple
Dinner: eggy rice (not egg-fried) veggie stir-fry with broccoli cabbage, carrot and whatever else I can find. A splash of soy.
12 cashew nuts in the stir fry HEB.
