Twas me that made the curries
Jolly yummy they were too!
My apologies MupElle, my Khumbi didn't look half as nice as yours though but maybe I found a different recipe as there does seem to be a few different versions floating about the internet.
I have had a pretty awful weekend eating wise; once you lose the will, its way too easy to give in to more. Ended up in Mc Donalds with Big Mac n Chips with FF Coke yesterday  and continued today with an apple turnover and three digestives. Ooops!
I discovered today that USA has different SW website which has quite a lot of diffferent recipes online to the UK version. I made some Cheesy Cauliflower to use up the massive cauli I got earlier in the week. I didn't fancy the idea of using stock though and used semi-skimmed milk instead; it ended up way too thick and me adding tons more milk to get it to a reasonable consistency. The way it's been I was beyond caring about a few more syns being added to the collection.Mortgage

Hi all
I try to stick to one 'naughty' day a week. I haven't upped my HEX's because that for me is a sure fire gain. I am good most of the time thoughI've not yet gone over my target. I'm currently at the lowest end of my target and don't believe I've exceeded 1lb under in the 8 weeks since hitting target. My Mum struggles with her target but Im glad I called as I seem to have settled at my natural weight
Been MIA for ages due to family illnesses etc, but I'm back now and glad to see this being discussed.
In my opinion, staying at target is much harder than getting there and unless people are prepared for that it can come as a shock how quickly the weight can return....been there, done that
I'm just a few pounds off my target again now and have a very different attitude towards maintaining than I had before.Forgot to tell you another little victory in my quest to be normal. I threw away the notebook where I wrote down all my food. Normal people do not do that. Felt like a weight was lifted.
I remember being told by my original Consultant that 'normal' people don't make cakes from Smash etc and it's always stuck in my mind that 'normal' people take food for granted. They eat when they're hungry, not necessarily because it's lunch time and they don't think about food all the time. It's something we slimmers have to do eventually or I'm afraid it'll never work properly, so I think throwing away your book is a brilliant idea Frogga and a definite step in the right direction.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Shala - it's -1lb for me this week.

Thanks for all your good wishes
Also thanks to all the ladies that have commented on how they stay at target.
I think it is going to be trial and error, I had fish and chips on the day I got to target and have been having my full 15 syns per day since then, this is an increase for me as I was having between 7 - 10 per day. I will then weigh in on Friday and see if I need to adjust. If I am still loosing I think I will gradually add healthy extras so bad habits don't start creeping back in.

As I munched my *5 syn* yogurt (aka the activiA breakfast pot with crunchy cluster$) this morning, I was wondering what other breakfast choices other followers of SW make. What is your HEB cereal of choice? or do you if possible try to have something cooked - even something as simple as boiled eggs?
I'm trying to get back into the sw frame of mind - start as I mean to go on and all that. I've made a sw pasta quiche today which will do for snacking and lunch tomorrow/Tuesday. I had some for lunch today - it pretty much collapsed as I upturned the dish so perhaps could have done with more eggs or longer cooking but it tasted ok - I can never understand though why it always tastes better cold?
I hope everyone has a good day. I didn't quite get round to meal planning as I had hoped so will have to wing it and hope for the best.0 -
Today has been all about avoiding cake....
Hubs brought home chocolate brownies and bless his heart, brought home a chocolate meringue for me (as we'd had meringues last week in the eton mess he knew I could have them, aww), then mum brought round a massive slab of her gorgeous Carrot, walnut and sultana cake (surely that must be healthy, all those superfrees) THEN we picked DS up from rollerskating party and there was a huuuuuge chocolate cake.
I'm V proud to say I had the tiniest slice of carrot cake and that was it whooo
Today was:
B: Toast, marmite, flora light and 5g of peanut butter on half of one of the slices (2).
L: Salmon, melba toast (3), crab sticks, lettuce, melon.
S: Tiny weeny sliver of carrot cake (2.5)Chinese chicken noodle soup (loads of veg in)
S: VODKA... ALL THE VODKA (2 actually but you know, split in half to make 4)
Chuffed with myself (but all the cake is in the kitchen, I can't go in the kitchen)
Well done for avoiding cakes, I am well into SW friendly cakes,
I posted my pic of cakes made with socks and flannels and have just spent a couple of hours watching videos learning to make Bath bomb cakes, Oh My they look lush, must have a go a these.
This Christmas Fair crafting was supposed to keep me from munching but you have to do quality control don`t you :rotfl::rotfl: wouldn`t do to use inferior stuff, so have sampled
a big bar of Aldi chocolate, for chocolate spoons to go with Snowman Soup, was lovely. half a bag of smart price toffees to make Elf sweets, yummy, a few Jelly lips, for Christmas Kisses,
were very nice,. a candy cane , a pack of tic tac`s to make Snowman poop, were ok, a few raisins to make Reindeer Poop, I like raisins, a spoon of porridge oats to make reindeer food, YUK
wont do that again, a few chocolate coins to go in Santa sleighs.
not bad,
Apart from all that actual meals have been SW, don't think I will get a loss this week but don't really mind, my scales say I am 10st
and I started this going alone Group scales read 2lb heavier than mine, so think I will just declare at target 10st. 3 stone loss, I wont get a sticker but will save £5 a week.Slimming World at target0 -

I vary mine but these are the options for me.
a) Porridge made with milk/water and with either a free yogurt stirred in or whatever fruit I have.
b) 2 wholemeal toast with sliced tomatoes on top.
c) Omelette, usually plain, sometimes with ham.
d) And then there's Bacon Wednesday (compulsory because hubby is a trucker) - either a bacon sandwich on wholemeal bread with sliced tomatoes, or bacon, eggs, mushrooms etc. thrown on a plate.
I never use spread on the toast, or put sugar in the porridge. Then again, I never put salt on anything either so I'm probably a weirdo.Start weight 13st10 (on 06/07/14) - 1st Goal 11st9 (by 14/12/14 - 23 weeks)
