    Hi Shala moo,
Can I please join. I rejoined sw tonight. Still 11lb lighter than I was when I joined last year. But 2 and half stone heavier than I was 3 years ago before I ruptured my anterior cruciate ligament in my knee. So my first target is to lose the 35 lbs with a possible 7-10 after that.

For this next eight weeks can you put me down for 14lbs.

2lb loss tonight!!:j:j.And Slimmer Of the Week!
I am really pleased with that.I am really in the zone at the moment.
The fridge and freezer are full of SW-friendly food, which I am enjoying.I don't always enjoy fruit,so the fact that I am at the moment is helping.
I have very full fridge and freezer,so don't need any more food, buuuuttttt, last night I found a recipe on another part of the MSE board for samosas. Now I a have a bee in my bonnet about making samosas. The recipe I found would have had about 1000 syns each,so I looked on SW website and found a recipe for 1-syn samosas.Am going to follow that 1-syn filo pastry ,and cooking technique, but use the lovely sounding filling I found on this other thread.I shall report back.

    My menu today:
    Breakfast:banana,grapes
    Lunch:bacon,eggs,beans,followed by honeydew
Tea: chilli con carne,30gcheese nachos (think it was 7 syns),WW creme fraiche,15g cheese
    Might later have 2 Alpens.

Good luck for everyone for the new challenge :T:T

Can someone tell me if this Soup is ok.

Onion leek carrot potato ( small one ) yellow split peas 2 slices of very lean bacon 2 stock cubes seasoning water. and how will I count it in my menu.

    Thank you

I'd count that soup as free and a balanced meal on EE (assuming you think the onions, leeks, carrots make up a third of the ingredients which it looks like to me).

I'm feeling nice and thin tonight but I've got a loose skirt on. Skinny jeans are always the acid test.;) Nothing off plan until WI on Thursday so hoping for a small loss.

greentiger I love playing with the font sizes.Sometimes it feels like I am writing a Charlie and Lola book :rotfl:.The only thing I find is that if I do a big font LIKE THIS,the rest of the text never looks like it did in the opening of the post.
But I do love whispering like this.Tis great for making confessions :D

Goodness me there are a lot of very childish people on here playing about with font sizes. I myself would never do anything so childish. It's about time some of you just
    grow up
    and stop
    messing about
this is a serious thread with grown up serious people who read newspapers and drink wine and eat dark chocolate and all sorts of other grown up stuff so let's have a little more decorum please or I'm
    not playing anymore !

So I managed to get through day 1. No binges. Phew. Here we go on Day 2 then.

Oh and Mildredd, don't call me 'Greenie'! That's what all the boys at school call the phlegmy snot they cough up and spit at people! Charming!

Not looking forward to going back tomorrow either TIE. I thought I might win the lotto this holiday. But no such luck.

Many congrats b_e_g and saver-upper on your losses and shinies :T

Welcomes due again, this thread is getting lots of new posters which is lovely, good luck to you all! I'm wondering how busy group will be tonight as it seems a new school term is a popular time to start.

Got my WI tonight so will report back later on whether my 100% on plan week has been successful! I may have a weight earlier than that though as I have to see the practice nurse today and they might weigh me. I wouldn't mind because the only weights they have on file are the one from booking appointment when I was pregnant with my toddler which was  and the same when I got pregnant with baby which was only slightly less !

    Menu (Green)
B: Branflakes & milk (HEB and some of an HEA)
L: wholemeal roll with soft cheese (HEB and 0.5 HEA) and a load of salad
    S: fruit and ff yoghurt
D: Veg & quorn mince sauce with pasta

Syns: Butter on pasta (2.5), Vimto (3.5), either an alpen light this pm if hungry (3) or 15g of smarties after dinner (3.5).

My menus do tend to be a bit samey to be honest, I've slipped into the habit of having much the same for breakfast and lunch as it involves no thinking and I know the weights and measures off by heart. Dinner is the only variant but always has lots of veg in it!

[ETA: a 3.5 syn portion of smarties is actually 14.9g but I challenge anyone to weigh that accurately! I think it's a fun size box of them that weighs that and I only have the normal tubes.]
