Hello you lot and thanks for the warm welcome! I'll be following the EE plan on SW. Hope I am doing this right.....

Right - todays meal plan is:

B - porridge made with milk (HEA) and a banana
L - Home made cottage pie (mince, oxo, carrots, mushrooms, peas and onion with mash on the top) with green beans, cauliflower and broccoli. Hartleys sugar free jelly and a muller light for pud (1 syn)
T - chicken salad with 1 slice wholemeal bread
S - boiled egg and 1 slice wholemeal bread (HEB)
Snacks: plums, apples, grapes and a kids size dairy milk bar (5.5 syns)

Unless you are doing a red/green day you will have to syn your porridge because you have already had your HE b as bread.
Hope you don't mind me saying but that is where I went wrong at the beginning x

    Morning!

Good luck for those going back to work. I've been back for 2 weeks already.

Some great losses already, well done.

Yesterday went well, felt I ate loads though:
I'm going to try a green day today, I'm in a "needing warm, filling comforting, carby food" mood

B: beans on toast (HEb) fried egg
L: veg soup, rice with chilli beans, muller yoghurt/banana
T: little steamed potatoes, veg stir fry

Going to try to make the rice pudding today, will use my HEa

Do you all cook it in the oven or on the hob?

Cooked on hob for about 15 -20 mins and then in oven to 'brown'. I used all Almond Milk (instead of milk and water) as you get much bigger allowance for hexa and it made it quite creamy. Only made half the amount and it made two huge portions.

Hi please may I join? I am familiar with the plan as I used to go to group a couple of years ago.
I weigh 13st 3lb and today is my first day.
    My target is 11st
I'd like to be 12st by halloween.
    Thanks

    Welcome Lilypie :hello:

  • Morning - another 1.5 lbs off for me this week. Thanks for the new thread Shala and the challenge.

Not caught up yet - will try and do so later.
    Morning all (just!).

Pleased to report a 2lb loss this week. Amazing considering how naughty I've been. Not pushing my luck though and am firmly back on plan.

    Great losses ladies :T

Lunch just about ready - Pasta n Sauce with loads of extra veggies in :)

    Busy busy busy here again.

this is a serious thread with grown up serious people who read newspapers and drink wine and eat dark chocolate

I don't do any of those things, so can I still play?, please, Frogga?

Oops - so busy playing that a bit of my post went of its own accord!

Shala, it's 1lb off for me, whoopee! First loss in 8 weeks!

Realised that I'd planned to have hexa mini babybels for snack tonight, but I had weetabix this morning and I use much more milk for this than with any other cereal, so that's my hexa for today. Plus need to count 2 syns for my cheesy fridge soup.

You are absolutely right - I knew I'd used all my syns but couldn't think where! Thanks!

    No problem!

I'm going to have 25g of cashew nuts for 7.5 syns and probably some tinned pineapple for 2.5 syns in my sweet and sour so that is my quota used up for today.
It's a beautiful sunny day here so I've changed all the beds and am counting that as extra body magic because I'm shattered!

Thanks for the welcomes everyone. Great losses so far.
My first week was not too bad, I lost 2.5 lbs. Gave a food diary to the group leader, so will wait for feedback on that.
The homity pie looks lovely, must give it a try but not tonight as have to work late.

    Food today:
B - weetabix, banana and mullerlight
L - chicken breast and salad, carrot soup.
D - don't know yet as no access to food until later.

    Have a good day all.

    Hi again (newbie here)

I'm back... Today was first day back at work, thought I had everything planned food wise but suddenly panicked when I got home at 2, as I always sit down with a cuppa and something (biscuit, cake, chocolate, something) so I ate an askeys fan wafer - quite a nice sugary rush for 2 syns :D

    Today is/will be:

B: Toast with flora light (1/2) marmite
L: Chicken cous cous with loads of veg (left over from last night)
S: Askeys fan wafer! ;) banana
D: Jacket spud with Tuna think I'll syn a lil bit of flora.
    s: not sure but something.

Think I'll be right on plan :D:D

I snuck on the scales this morning... my official weigh in isn't till Thursday but today is 7 days since I started and guess what? Haven't lost a lb brilliant... I am going to be so gutted lol!!
