Be Awesome in Autumn with Slimming World

I hope so! I've only got about 15lbs to lose, but been useless with losing them for about 6 months, I lose 5, go up 5, lose 5, go up 5, so I decided to bite the bullet and try slimming world for the first time!
Question for you, or anyone...
I'm only using about 75 mls of milk a day (5 cups of tea, I just measured how much I put in) but claiming it as my hea... do you think I could have one pod of Philly light as well, as the hea is 2? So sort of half and half? I know you're not supposed to as such, but I'm unlikely to want two pods of philly and never going to drink 250 mls of milk (as I can't eat cereal)...Started SW on 18 August 2014 - Total Weight Loss 12 lbs :T

this is a serious thread with grown up serious people who read newspapers and drink wine and eat dark chocolate and all sorts of other grown up stuffI don't do any of that!
I do all three:o but I still like to play!!Not only am I in the free paper this week and have Woman of the Year on sunday - now I have a job interview for a job I really really want next Monday. Drove past the flipping ex last night as well - first sighting in months - but he's incidental this week. Its all flippin go here!
Keep strong lantanna, there's a huge amount going on with you at the moment. I'm sure if you're up for WoY then you'll be fine in an interview. Keep us posted.
Lillian, I was wondering whether I could add some cottage cheese to the homity pie to offset the cheese syns. Perhaps half and half. I think I'll try it one lunchtime as it reads as if it would ping well to warm up.
MupElle, I don't think your menu has enough superfree today. So far it's just the banana and the veg in the couscous. Could you include something with your dinner like pickles or salad on the side?
Well done on your loss minihauk. You'll have much faster (and often better;)) feedback from here than from many consultants. We had a conversation on here about bananas the other week. They are SF but they're also one of the few fruits (grapes are another) that aren't speedy or superspeedy. That's not that you shouldn't have them but you should lose more with other fruits especially SS like most melon and grapefruit..
My EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, baked beans
L: ham, fried veg and cornichonschicken casserole (onion, leeks, celery, carrots, mushrooms, butterbeans) with new potatoes.
Syns: scrape of spread, cornflour in casserole0 -

You definitely can. Splitting a HEX is quite usual on here whether you're supposed to or not!!:rotfl:0 -

Hi Maman, thanks for the comment I appreciate itI have quite severe tummy issues so am going to struggle lots with superfree, no idea if SW is going to work because of it, I have IBS, GERD and Gastroparesis - but I'm giving it a go anway! Fingers crossed...
There will however be a small salad and sweetcorn with the jacket pot, I just forgot to put them on :rotfl:
I more or less can't eat any fruit tho
Thanks for the hex split info too! I can have that with my jacket potato, instead of mayo or marg whooooooooooooooStarted SW on 18 August 2014 - Total Weight Loss 12 lbs :T

Hello you lot and thanks for the warm welcome! I'll be following the EE plan on SW. Hope I am doing this right.....
Right - todays meal plan is:
B - porridge made with milk (HEA) and a banana
L - Home made cottage pie (mince, oxo, carrots, mushrooms, peas and onion with mash on the top) with green beans, cauliflower and broccoli. Hartleys sugar free jelly and a muller light for pud (1 syn)
T - chicken salad with 1 slice wholemeal bread
S - boiled egg and 1 slice wholemeal bread (HEB)
Snacks: plums, apples, grapes and a kids size dairy milk bar (5.5 syns)
Hi Kaytola if it's EE I think your only 1A & 1B are your porridge and milk
So your Syns would be bread, jelly Kids Choc bar
Please correct me if I'm wrong I am not 100% perfect myself0 -
So much for a green day. Been busy, ran out the house without lunch and found myself in Aldi so hungry. Bought a packet of Piri piri chicken mini fillets and ate them in the car and had a nectarine as well
Any idea if there are syns in these Piri Piri mini fillets?
Quite chuffed that I didn't go for the chocolate or biscuits in Aldi and have saved my SW day, will just make it EE, upping my SF with tea and will have a fruit salad with a muller light0 -

this is a serious thread with grown up serious people
Well, there's a coincidence. This is the second different thread I have been on this week where someone has been crowing on about us all being grown-up,serious people.(In that case the poster was also trying to accuse us of being intelligent. ).Like on this thread,I had to search back many pages on THAT thread and then admit I STILL couldn't see any proof of it
Back on topic.
Today has been a planned off-plan day.
My 12yo doesn't go back to school til Thursday. She is my eldest, and often has different INSET days from the younger kids,so we often go for a shopping/lunch day.
Honestly,I didn't really feel like a heavy meal at Bella Italia, with 2 desserts to share afterwards. So we decided to go to John Lewis for "twelveses" (like elevenses, but different).I had a cheese and red onion crepe.A few hours later we went back there for tea and carrot cake.
So there is my week's syns there.
Having filled up like that,I still feel full. Not sure what's for tea.Guess I'd better feed the troops, considering it was their first day back and everything.Don't feel lke anything, myself.SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76
