Hi folks, flying visit - not read back.

Well shala its +3lbs :( I am still acting as a tour guide to our OZ friends, which involves eating out all the time.

They are doing their own thing for a couple of days but the change in the weather has brought me a stinker of a cold and, unfortunately, I seem to fit the old adage to a tee - "feed a cold and starve a fever". :(

In the morning I'm back at the hospital for another attempt at removing those blessed polyps, otherwise it'll be a general anaesthetic at a later date.

Then I'm back on tour guide duties from Thursday until Monday, so more days off SW.

    Good luck all.

Thank you, I do go swimming as often as I can. I do need to learn to let things go though... (breaks out into song..Let it go, let it gooooooo, lol)

I think that was one of the reasons my bp was going up, the cuff is really really tight ( I have fat arms) and it was so sore. When I told her she said: "talking makes the reading go up so just relax"

I am giving SW my full attention and 100% commitment, one week at a time and see if I can bring it down by the time I get the monitor home. I don't fancy going on meds, but if I need to for my health, so be it.

    EE day today:
    spinach and fried egg
turkey breast steak (grilled on George Foreman thingy)
    and salad, beetroot
savoury rice done in my new actifry with carrots, onions, broccoli and peppers, kidney beans and chicken. Mullerlight with blueberries and banana and a meringue (3 syns)

HEa: slice cheese (didn't have coffee or tea, trying to reduce caffeine intake) and HEb 2 slices small WM bread

syns: 2 for olive oil in rice dish, 3 for meringue (cutting back a bit after yesterdays consumption of whole bag of maltesers)

good night, we get to do it all again tomorrow.

P.S. OMG! I have finally mastered a multiquote, after all these years :j:

Its a valid point what you say about the cuff as my Mums district nurse once explained to us that its important to have the right size otherwise you get a false reading. Hopefully the home monitor will show better result for you.

good luck for the procedure today Greentiger hope it is successful and not too painful,

I woke up tired and with a terrible headache, caffeine withdrawal, I think

Well done for the losses,:A oops for the gainers, :naughty: isn't it mean how quick it is to put weight on? Not fair.

I have no idea what the menu is for today but it will involve fruit, veg and mullerlight ;) I am still on the hunt for the mint ones, they are sold out everywhere.

    Have a great day.

    Morning ladies,

Glad the arm exercises are being used.

shala thanks for the updated table.:T

Bras are a big issue for me as well. Gone down to 34 round my back but seem to be in an F cup still

Glad to see some returners, glad your back on the bandwagon:D

Have my mum and dad visiting today so it will be all butter and thick sliced bread ... Not for me though
I will be hovered over in the kitchen whilst I'm making cottage pie. Mum thinks mash should be made with equal parts butter and full fat milk:eek:

    Have a great day x

    Morning

Step aerobics completed last night and sweated like a pig!!

Tomorrow is weigh in for me and hoping its not too bad - a little wouldn't do me any harm at the minute but I'm hoping its not more than 2 lbs.

Planning on going to Body Combat tonight! I am focused on getting a toned body in addition to boosting my serotonin and getting my mind of this flipping man.

Roll on the weekend at least its hump day

Maman I think you're right but it just seemed easier because she didn't ask me anything about being veggie.
Half the problem with me is that I'm doing it from memory from two years ago rather than reading the books - I need to go back to basics I think. Work out what plan I'm doing then stick to it religiously because I know SW does work! And being on this forum - had loads of good advice and I've not even been back on plan for 24 hours!!!! :T:T:T:beer:

Sadly, most consultants seem to focus on EE almost to the exclusion of all else. You need to press them to explain Green properly and I'd definitely say read the books! It's a really good tip for anyone to go back and read them again.

I lost only 1kg this week.
I am a little disappointed for a first week loss:(

    Carmen x

Well you shouldn't be disappointed. Perhaps if you weighed in pounds you'd feel better.;)You've lost 2lbs+!!

For a HEB you can have 80g prunes or 70g apricots (that's semi-dried).
welp it's all gone terribly wrong, the only plus I can take from the last three weeks is if I hadn't started back on the wagon when I did I would have even more to do. Pretty much undone all that work over the last weekend away. No more ahead though. So starting AGAIN from scratch in the morning. Instead of worrying about what has gone before, tomorrow is a fresh start, I will be planning out menus and meals that don't include large amounts of alcohol to wash them down :( or partying, or all the other stuff I don't normally do!
So very very sorry I haven't been around.

Don't worry. Today is another day, fresh start and at least you know your way around the plan now. It's difficult balancing 'occasions' with RL. Good luck on your new journey!!

I'm out again tonight on another family birthday celebration. It's a Chinese buffet place (DGD's favourite). Back on plan proper tomorrow, at least until I go away for the weekend.:o
