I lost only 1kg this week.
I am a little disappointed for a first week loss:(
I have to admit to a munchie day yesterday, not sure what I wanted so kinda grazed through sweet and savoury.
Today was a good day though:)
B...Porridge
L...Ryvitas with scrape of mayo and tomato
D...Large baked pot and huge salad.
S...Dried fruit....not sure where they come with SW?
Well done to all the losers and keep your chin up to anybody with a droopy one.

Hi Carmen,
Dried fruit can be used as a healthy extra B depending on what it is.. they'll be in this list somewhereif not it'll be synned.

Hope you don't mind me commenting in red but i'm not sure what day you're doing on your menu. It works as a green day, is this what you were doing.. are you hungry at all because there doesn't seem to be much food thereand if you were doing green then you could have another HEA if you wanted.

Stayed on plan yesterday, won't bore you with my menu as they are really quite samey!
PLeased to report -2lb today. Got my (virtual) 2 stone award.
Thought I'd show you my breakfast for today. One of my favourites - fruit (nectarine, strawberries, raspberries, green grapes and banana) with fat free Greek yoghurt, a couple of spoons of flaked almonds (B choice) and a (generous) drizzle of honey (2.5). Absolutely delicious. Sorry for the super large pic - no idea how to resize!

That looks good enough to eat :rotfl:0 -
Hi
Sounds like you have one of the nicer consultants - I don't think I ever had a phone call/email etc off mine and I looked unhappy every week - I lost on average 0.5lb whilst OH lost 3lb every week :rotfl: Well jel!
Not sure on your size (oohh errr) but I found some nice styles in M&S and i'm in the larger range
also our store were doing a £5 off gift voucher if you got measured.
Got to say these are the most comfiest bras I've ever bought, they're just the bog standard t-shirt bras.. nothing expensive - I think they were £22 for 2.
Our consultant is lovely. She has lost 4st herself so understands the highs and lows of it. We are her first class and she seems very popular and always seems to have lots of new members. I need to get my bras from the + range too. Not too bad on the around size its the 'frontage' that requires more room.I seem to have got into the firmer moulded type bras - quite like the shape they give and I need all the help I can get now. Have tried some bras from George and even in a twin pack - one bra fitted and the other didn't quite. But the price was good especially when they are only as a stop gap. Will try to get to M&S and see what they have. The local store only sells food. I know I can get them delivered there free but I really like to try before I buy with bras.

welp it's all gone terribly wrong, the only plus I can take from the last three weeks is if I hadn't started back on the wagon when I did I would have even more to do. Pretty much undone all that work over the last weekend away. No more ahead though. So starting AGAIN from scratch in the morning. Instead of worrying about what has gone before, tomorrow is a fresh start, I will be planning out menus and meals that don't include large amounts of alcohol to wash them down
or partying, or all the other stuff I don't normally do!
So very very sorry I haven't been around.0 -
Thanks Maman for your suggestion I like carrots and I haven't had them roasted, I don't like swede really but I can tolerate a little when I mash carrots, sometimes I use turnip with carrots.
I have done well today I kept to three fruits and had no bread at all which kills me.
Do you know of those arm exercises that someone on here talks about. I could do with knowing what they are. thanks.
I get fed up with boiled/steamed veg but always love roasted veg, especially cauli and carrots. Try sprinkling a little thyme on the carrots before roasting them, yum.0 -

mumoftwo, so sorry to hear the people at the surgery upset you. I think whatever charm school they went to they should go back and ask for a refund.;) Of course you know what's really affecting your BP and that's your weight and stress. You're working on the weight :j so that'll keep improving over time. Is there anything you can do about the stress? More time for yourself? take a walk in the fresh air and leave the family behind? hit the gym and take your stress out on the machines? Something calming like the pool or the steam room? Pamper yourself.:A
Thank you, I do go swimming as often as I can. I do need to learn to let things go though... (breaks out into song..Let it go, let it gooooooo, lol)blue_eyed_girl wrote: »I suffer from high bp mumoftwo. Many years ago it was around the 190s and the gp at the time said I had to try and lose weight to see if it dropped as he was reluctant to put me on meds. Sure enough I lost several stones and then the bp numbers came down. Around 20 years later I regained all the weight I had lost earlierand the bp was quite high again but this time I have been put on medication. I would say to keep on doing what you're doing and see how things go. Re the home bp kits - my mum has one and when I tried hers, I found the cuff to be on the ....... shall we say ...... the snug side. I think replacement cuffs are available but they are as expensive as the whole machine. Damn it - you all know that I have massive bingo wings now :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
b_e_g
I think that was one of the reasons my bp was going up, the cuff is really really tight ( I have fat arms) and it was so sore. When I told her she said: "talking makes the reading go up so just relax"
I am giving SW my full attention and 100% commitment, one week at a time and see if I can bring it down by the time I get the monitor home. I don't fancy going on meds, but if I need to for my health, so be it.
EE day today:
spinach and fried egg
turkey breast steak (grilled on George Foreman thingy)
and salad, beetroot
savoury rice done in my new actifry with carrots, onions, broccoli and peppers, kidney beans and chicken. Mullerlight with blueberries and banana and a meringue (3 syns)
HEa: slice cheese (didn't have coffee or tea, trying to reduce caffeine intake) and HEb 2 slices small WM bread
syns: 2 for olive oil in rice dish, 3 for meringue (cutting back a bit after yesterdays consumption of whole bag of maltesers)
good night, we get to do it all again tomorrow.
P.S. OMG! I have finally mastered a multiquote, after all these years :j:0 -
