I agree with you mupelle. I quite understand the sugar argument so it's got to be worth a try. I eat very little fruit (mainly because I can't be bothered) compared with veg.

P.S. Glad dog's on the mend.

Aww thanks hun, poor lil doggie's got terrible eyes, she's a rescue Sharpei, and she's always getting sore eyes we're trying to find the money at the mo for a big op :/

I think it would be worth Wizkid1 trying it for a week or two, with less fruit, if it doesn't help, no harm done - if it does massive bonus! Glad you agree, I was a bit scared of getting told off :rotfl:

If we got told off for every time we suggest something that SW would disapprove off we'd ALL be on the naughty step!;)

That homity pie tweak sounds good crabapple. You've added in lots of SFs which is great. Let us know how it tastes.

According to my toddler 'It's a bit yucky' :rotfl:

Me and hubby loved it!! Really filling, nicer flavour this time probably in part down to me not messing up the stock, but the root veg made it all more interesting too. I made sure to get mature half fat cheese to give more flavour as well.

Will definitely be making it again. More left for tomorrow night after WI as well :)

I don't like cauliflower much either, but I used to eat it raw and quite enjoy it. My mum would keep a floret or two uncooked to make sure I'd have some with my dinner! Never minded it in a rich cheese sauce though :o

Meg - that was a good haul!!!

lantanna - Enjoy your gym visit!
I've had a chat to OH and we're going to do 100 days of healthy eating/following plan, although one clause is that OH wants one treat meal a week..so that's our challenge  no takeaways, no meals out, no sweets except in our treat meal

Our treat meal this week will be at a wedding we're going to at the weekend.. it better be good!

Mildredd - remember loads of exercise may slow down your weight loss so don't be too disheartened!! Your body will get used to be pummelled and start to lose as normal..

Kiwisaver, have you tried the cauliflower raw?? It's a completely different taste to when it's cooked.

    Evening all :hello:
Don't know what I ate yesterday but it triggered an IBS attack and I had a terrible night. Saw every hour on the clock with a continuous burning in my stomach. Work was a bit of a struggle today, good job kids still on half days.

    Food;
    B - RB, honey [2], coffee
L - salad, b/egg, rice noodles, mayo [2], babybel light [3], pineapple, blueberries & activia
S - mug of dyno rod soup, coffee
T - cheesy GF pasta with tomatoes and beans, rice pud, lemon cured [2]
    HEA - milk/cheese
    HEB - RB/cheese
    Syns - 9

Well done on the losses all and BIG hugs to those in need :A

Thank you for the 'well done' posts ~ I'm really glad I stuck with it now :D

ruby_eskimo & Mildredd, well done on your losses :T

wizkid1, glad you're sticking with SW for now. I'm another one who pays for days off-plan. Apologies for TMI, but do you suffer from water retention?? Do you 'go' to the loo regularly?? :o I know it's a bit personal, so don't feel you have to answer. I just know that with SW I'm always on the loo!! :o [\quote]

Yes I do suffer from water retention, and I am up every hour during the night:)
