Some great losses there Frogga, Poppy and others - well done :T
My day has been a lot of the same as yesterday as usually try and stretch Sunday dinner into Monday.
B. Greek Yoghurt (1) & Rapberries
L. Hex B Sandwich with Philly Mini Tub (2) and boiled bacon + bowl of salad and an apple
D. More boiled bacon, boulangere potatoes, carrots, corn and butternut plus some experimental roasted cauliflower*
Snacks; Satsuma and a banana 2 x Freddo Biscuits (6)
* I hate cauli with a passion but saw someone on TV yesterday that roasted it until really golden (with loads of oil and parmesan cheese of course) and it looked really lovely - so I stopped and got a cauli on the way home and had a go at roasting some with just a little spray of oil and loads of salt and pepper. It could have done with a bit longer as it was a bit underdone but I couldn't wait any longer. It wasn't totally horrid though and I ate a few florets straight out of the tin. I might try again and blanch or par-boil some next time to make it a little bit softer.Mortgage

Hi all,
just checking in, I've cooked a sw quiche, a huge pan of bolognese with a ton of veg and a slow cooker full of stew this weekend. You cannot move in my house for food at the moment!
I'm gutted that I put on 0.25lb in my first week though. I had suspected I would as I think my metabolism is wrecked from calorie restriction for so long. I was having about 1200 cals a day but wine calories on fri and sat took about 1000 off that per week. I don't think my body is used to food so I thought I might put on. Still really disappointed though as I have been really good.
Wizkid, sorry to read you're struggling too, I totally get your frustration. Before I started this I was getting so narked off with losing at such a slow rate (about 05lb/1lb a week) especially after a huge gain on holiday. So many people around me were losing 2lbs/2.5lbs a week and I was just thinking how on earth can I eat less to enable me to lose more because I'm living off practically nothing as it is. So I thought I'd try SW to see if it helped. To be honest, if I lose at the same rate it's still better as I am actually eating food. I'm just hoping in the next couple of weeks I'll start losing.
Well done to all those who lost, and this homity pie I keep reading about sounds lush, I'm really looking forward to autumn and lovely warming casseroles stews, chillis and cottage pies. Have a good day everyone.0 -
