Was ok actually, hips and thighs ache already tonight. You must repeat 1st run 3 times in 7 days leaving at least a day between so I'm aiming for Monday, Thursday and Saturday this week
I'll report back at the end of the week
Is it the same training plan as the Race for Life?? I seem to remember (when DD2 did the R for L) that you start off walking. I'm not sure I could run straightaway. My bones were aching badly last night after doing a couple of 20 minute walks in the last few days, so that doesn't bode well
wizkid, don't restrict yourself too much or you'll get fed up. I eat a lot of potatoes on SW & I'm fine with them, I know everyone's different though.
Green day:
B - branflakes (HEB1), blackberries, Greek yoghurt (3.5 syns)
L - loaded potato skins (1/2 HEA1), salad. Bowl of lentil & veg soup
D - HM veggie pasta, grated cheese (1/2 HEA1), salad, wholemeal pitta (HEB2)
S - 2 ryvita (4 syns), Philly light pod (1/2 HEA2), tomato
Hope everyone has a good day today'A watched potato will never chit'...0 -
Hi all
Caught up with all the posts now. Had a very busy weekend and lots of BM on Saturday as went in to Edinburgh with DH and 2 boys. Walked miles up to the castle and around the castle then back down. Sunday was chores so really busy for getting back to work on Monday. Weekends go so quickly!!
Planned my meals for the week but I struggle with breakfast as I have found that if I have just fruit and yoghurt by 10am I could eat a scabby horsse and then want to stuff my face. So yesterday whilst tea was cooking I made some mini SW quiche with some LO mushrooms and bacon from the weekend, eggs splash of milk and a bit of cheese. Made a tray of 12 individual ones and have to say it is a quick and easy breakfast for me and very filling - had 4 this morning so will last 3 breakfasts. Hoping that this could be the answer to my brekkie problems during the week.
Yesterday's plan was
breakfast: banana and yoghurt, DG coffee (2.5 syns)
lunch: ham sandwich (HEb), carrot batons and tomatoes, pineapple and snack a jacks (4.5 syns)
dinner: cajun salmon, baked potato and beans, strawberries
snack: philadelphia lightest (HeA) and crackerbread (6 syns) - forgot I had a HEb at lunch time - doh0 -
Morning all.. well day 2 for me of the new regime..

Really annoyed i didn't think to do loaded potato skins with my jacketonly thought about it this morning.. think i might do some at the weekend and stick them in the freezer.
BEG - don't be too disheartened, your weight loss has been brilliant since you started.. your body might just be having a break
Wiz - agree with poppy, be careful at making yourself feel deprived. You've cut a lot of stuff out since you first started..
Went bra shopping last night - mine are embarrassingly tatty - anyway i measured myself before i went and i've gone up a back and a cup size  hopefully next time i have to get a new bra i'll have gone back down!! Meg - Looks like you need to get couscous for dumplings, unless you're gonna use syns.

Not really looked at the minimims site before now. Does anyone post on there?
I'm going to have a nosey when I have time - although I just had a quick look at the 'through the stones to your zone' and the second thread was 'from 8's to 7's'. Never going to be any use to me :rotfl::heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Morning,
I need some advice pls, I'm pretty upset.
I've had my bloodpressure checked yesterday after 6 months. It was really high (I always measure very high in the surgery) and I'm on the waiting list to get a monitor at home again for a week.
Now in those 6 months, I have lost a stone, nearly gave up all diet coke and coffee, increased my exercise but obviously it's not enough.
The nurse was not interested at all and very abrupt.
With that and my family totally p*ssing me off last night, I ate my way through a bag of maltesers, half a packet of pink biscuits, toast etc
Now in the light of day, I have to stop feeling sorry for myself and do something about this bloodpressure but what? Lose more weight and more exercise, I know but are certain foods better in lowering blood pressure? Any suggestions?
I do eat lots of veg and good things, my cholesterol is good0 -

Yes minimims is great, good source of info. As far as I remember there is a thread for all the stone brackets, I was reading the "into the 22 stone" a while ago.0 -
Shala - That sounds like a great day for your own challenge!!:T And great that the OH is so willing to get involved. Where do you find one like that??
Feeling a bit more settled and happier this week - thank goodness!!!
Did 30 mins on the bike last night and the CX Mills class.
Haven't decided on what tonights physical activity will be but it is happening!!
Really struggling with food at the minute so really need to keep the exercise up for damage limitation.
Made some roasted butternut squash soup last night so having that for lunch with a muller.
Breakfast was donated grilled bacon and nimble toast.
Have a spot on my chin - the size of my chin : (0
