  • Hello all!! Been about 6 months since I posted on this thread, a lot has happened but even without following the SW plan as well as I should, I'm about a stone lighter. Just started some new medication that's giving me the major munchies so am joining back to group on Tuesday.

Good to see some familiar names still lurking about, planning to have a bit of a read back and catch up and also get some inspiration but just thought I'd pop my head up and say hello!

:hello: hello daisy, good to see you. Good thinking about the return to SW. Medication can play havoc with weightloss as wiz and others will tell you. Good luck and well done on the stone you've lost already.

I'd forgotten I had some LOs in fridge: had patatas bravas for lunch that I made the other day. Was yum but very spicy and I think probably best eaten separately as a tapas (as intended) otherwise it crowds out all the flavour of everything else.

This one is hubbie's I added some chocolate dusting and little decorative star thingies to his and DS's. I did it more of a layered thing, just for prettiness but would be so easy if you just dumped everything in a bit bowl and then shared it into smaller ones, layered ones also made sure that I didn't have more than my one meringue nest ;)

3 syns (without the dusting and stars)

They are in the fridge, until after dinner :D

    Afternoon all
Had a naughty day on Friday :o I was feeling fat yesterday so I put on the dress I had bought for my awards ball next year. Couldn't get the zip up and OH kept helpfully saying 'it's too small, it doesn't fit' I remembered the woman in the shop saying the zip was a bit awful though so eventually I put it over my head and I was thrilled to get into it :D OH didn't believe me when I told him it did fit but he was a bit sheepish when I got into it over my head :D also went to Next today to have a look for some work trousers. Found what I thought was the perfect pair and OH kindly said he would buy them and a top for me as part of my birthday pressie.
So I took two pairs of size 18's and a size 18 and 16 top to try. To my surprise they all drowned me so with the help of an assistant I then took four pairs of 16's and a 16 and a 14 top to try. The first pair of 16 trousers fit like a dream and were nice and comfy but the 16 top was still too big  ended up with the 14 top which still gapes under the arms but it's sleeveless so will be wearing a little shrug with it anyway which should cover that.

    Today's menu:
B: SW fry-up- bacon with all fat removed, 2 fried eggs, 3 Quorn Cumberland sausages (3 syns) tinned tomatoes with herbs, HEXB cracked black pepper Ryvitas. (Fry up done with Frylight) pint of NAS and 2 kiwis.
L: Big mixed salad with Hellmans fat free vinegarette, wafer thin ham and smoked salmon. Can of caffeine free diet coke
T: 2 chicken pieces minus skin, one with Chicken Tonight sauce (4 syns) one without. Aunt Bessie's Homestyle roasties (2.5 syns) steamed mixed veg. Fresh strawberries and Mullerlight.
S: tin of beans, tin of tuna.
    Syns: 9.5
    Hope everyone's ok xx

Well done you and thanks for the pic.

When I'm feeling lazy (which is most of the time) I do a DIY pudding. Just put raspberries, strawberries, meringue nests, cream (and sometimes Greek yogurt too) on the table and let guests make their own Eton mess or mini pavlova or just have fruit if they prefer. It came about when I was getting to target and wanted syn free for me so I just had fruit and a dollop of yogurt.

yep def only 3 syns :D

Strawberry's (the sauce is just when the strawberries were defrosting, the juice they left behind (FIL got us a massive job lot of strawbs so we have loads in freezer), fat free yoghurt, with sweetner added, mullerlight strawberry yoghurt and a meringue nest (being the 3 syns). Bearing in mind I've split the muller light between 3, the yoghurt between 3.... Brilliant recipe idea from SW!

This one says 3.5 syns, but I checked my meringue nests and they're only 3 :D

Good idea Maman, you could put chocolate/chocolate sauce and sprinkles for kids too (if you were me) :D And then people could choose what they wanted - great idea!
