Well in real life, quiche would have pastry and frittata wouldn't
But here, they're all much of an eggy muchnessBut yes, as Mildred said frittata is basically an omelette with potato in! I think the other difference between an omelette and a frittata is, with an omelette you cook the egg mixture and then put the stuff in the middle, with a frittata you cook the stuff then add the egg

Morning All (waving)
My lack of ability to do smilies is beginning to annoy me (cross face) so anyone know how I can turn them back on again as I used to be able to do it? (looking puzzled)
Thanks for the recipe Muppelle ~ I will defo try that as I love mushrooms (yum yum face??)
Poppy and Flutterby I was thinking of soup, and I do have one of those mugs, but I didn't think they kept the food warm like a flask? They don't look thermal? (disbelieving face)
Am gonna make the sw quiche today and eat it cold with a fork fro tomorrows first lunch of the week. Maybe get some salad to have with it. That shouldn't be too hard to eat while standing up and shouting at kids not to pour drinks all over each other.
Mildredd said sw quich was 4 eggs, pot of C&C cottage cheese, cooked veg like peppers onions and mushrooms in a dish or individual muffin things for 1/2 hour or so. Can't wait to try.
What's the difference between the quiche or frittata then?
xxxx

Morning All,
I'm not expecting too much of myself this week as had a work do on Friday night, lots of nibbles and wine were consumed, but no dinner, not a good combination.
I'm away for the next two weekends too, but I'm not going to give up, will still try to stay on plan by taking fruit and low syn snacks with me.
WI tomorrow, fingers crossed.
Well done to all the losers and <<hugs>> to all who need them.0 -
morning! Can't believe I have slept late, must have needed it.
Thanks for the chart Shala, it's looking good.
I have managed to scrape a -1lb off Relieved about that.
Away to make brunch for everyone, eggs, bacon, beans etc
not sure about the rest of the day, I think I need to pop into a supermarket.
Have a good day0 -
Hi all. Well done on the losses lovelies
Had such a bad week. I tried to rein it in but then bought chocolate to make myself feel better. I am an idiot
First proper * week since I had the baby though so I'm going to blame that and hope that my willpower reappears (ideally today since I still have time before WI on Tuesday).
On another note, I've been doing some sewing. I'm guessing it won't count as BM but I've been really enjoying myself cross stitching. It's something I rarely have time for these days and I promised myself and my two best friends with little ones that I'd do birth samplers. So far 6 kids born, 1 sampler completed. That child is now 4 and just started school! Next eldest is my daughter so I'm working on that one now.
Can't do proper BM right now anyhow as I broke my toe on Monday:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Hi
Can I ask a question please.
I'm doing Extra Easy. When I enter my food into the food diary, once the food is entered, it doesn't seem to differentiate between free and superfree? I thought the superfree might be the ones in red but eggs are showing as red?
ThanksSW: Wk1 (5) Wk2 (2.5) Wk3 - Wk 4 (4) Wk 5 - (1.5) Wk 6 (1) Total off 1 stone!:j0 -

For Shala WI - lost .2lb I sometimes wish my scales didn't register points of lbs but then I'd mostly have STS every week so am taking the .2lb with a :T.
Meg - the cakes look yummy, are you sure they are sw friendly?Whats in them please?
I made a batch of dyno rod soup yesterday and I 'ahem' got a bit carried away. I had loads of tins from aldi in the cupboard so they all went in. Was about 4 tins of toms, beans, mushrooms plus 1 mixed bean salad. Then added a whole butternut squash, 2 big onions, 4 leeks, green lentils and a bag of chopped courgettes, mushrooms and mixed peppers that I had put in freezer for soup last time I made some. I used my 8 litre pressure cooker and it was filled to the brim .
I filled 4 big containers then ran out so used 4 of hubbys maxi muscle drinks bottles and a chinese take away container which was just about enough [bar the 2 spoonfuls that went in my gob]. My freezer in now FULL. I will be living on soup for weeks :rotfl:
Hoping for a better loss next week thenIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
