Frogga, I know your pain :D People in my office also don't like when anything is "smelly" which makes it even more awkward :D Do you like fish? I make the mackerel pate (free) and then have it with crackers (ryvita whatever)? What about fritatta (free)? If you make that with plenty of potato it stays quite solid and you can eat it like cake/sandwich, with your hands? I love cous cous salad most, if you get Ainsley Harriott, it's only 1/2 a syn for half a packet of the spice sensation and then you can add in loads of veg/meat, it takes 5 mins to make. HTH's :D Good luck with your WI!

I thought I'd share a pic as I know you lot like pics, here's my curry from this eve, both recipes from SW - Khumbi Curry (mushroom) and Chicken Tikka (with red peppers & courgettes) also onions, garlic, ginger and tomatoes in both so loooooads of veg :D

Only downer was, I ran out of sunflower fry light half way through and had to do my Khumbi in butter fry light, which I've never used before (it was on offer) IT tasted of popcorn :O :O :O

I didn't even manage to finish the whole lot :D This dieting lark isn't too bad is it? :D

These are all the Asda cottage cheese it lists, as you can see some of them are free and some aren't even the full fat ones I think? :D And yes, if you use it, you can use it as a syn :D Perhaps you could get the smart value one though, as it's free :D:D:D

This is the recipe page: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/40936144#Comment_40936144

I think you will need to be careful with the old books, as from my understanding Extra Easy wouldn't have been about then, are you doing extra easy or red & green? xx

MupElle, thank you so much for taking the time to list the above :A
I will try the smart price one, but if it is bleug I will stick to one I like and syn it :)
I stick to the Green because I am a lazy vegetarian, what is extra easy?

I do, but only if they're swimming around rather than dead on a plate as I'm veggie ;) thanks for the other ideas though xxx

    Ooh sorry Frogga :O

    Edit: Brainwave ;)

    Mushroom pate?

    Syns per serving: FREEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    Low calorie cooking spray
    1 garlic clove, crushed
    225g mushrooms, finely chopped
    110g fat-free natural cottage cheese
    Salt and ground black pepper
    Method

Fry the onions in low calorie cooking spray or dry fry them. Add the garlic and cook until soft and just beginning to brown.
Increase the heat, add the mushrooms and cook for 6–7 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and leave to cool a little.
Put the cottage cheese, the mushroom mixture and seasoning into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Chill in the refrigerator before serving.

Thanks for the almonds/ryvita info, MupElle :) Odd how SW have doubled the almonds HEB from when I first started SW  Oh well, I guess they know what they're doing.

Curries look yum  & I'm liking the sound of that mushroom pate too. Glad you're feeling better, btw.

meg72, I'm definitely more weepy around TOTM :o Sounds like you got a bargain in Morrison's with the beef joint.

Well done to durham_mim on the lb & inch loss :T

frogga, can you take some HM soup in a flask to work?? Dip a couple of HEB ryvita crispbreads in it?? Or I've even known someone take hot HM pasta in sauce in a flask.

The Homity pie was tasty tonight, had it with baked beans. DD2 had a portion but wasn't that fussed, so I have 2 more portions to eat. Has anyone tried freezing it??

I'm going to have a couple of ryvitas now (4 syns) with a Philly light pod (1/2 HEA) as only had 1/2 HEA at lunchtime. Will add a couple of slices of red onion, good job DH isn't here to smell my onion breath!! :rotfl:
