    Never having been a fan of mushy peas,I am sure someone will be along-it may be a different ingredient in the MP curry that has the weight-loss effect.There is a few mysteries in the SW plan;
-why is a banana free, unless you mash it,then you have to syn it
-why doesn't potato (free),need synning when you mash that?
-why are tinned veges free, but tinned fruit, even if in water/unsweetened stuff, not?
-some tweeks,eg (and this is the first example ever given to our group, when we got a new leader, about 2 years after I started going),why is an uncooked dry pasta sheet free, but if you flavour and cook it to make a "crisp",it should be synned

Somehow the SW programme still works...........

And I thought Muller lights yogurts were god icon_eek.gif

Mysteries indeed. I gave up trying to get answers to some of the questions.too much strain on this poor old brain, as you say it works so I figure I don't need to know why,:rotfl:

This is what's (still) confusing me :D

    And did you know…

Mushy peas are a Speed Food. How about Slimming World’s Free chips, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes and mushy peas? A firm Food Optimising favourite that’s Free.

    Taken from here: http://online.slimmingworld.com/useful-features/speed-success.aspx

I kind of get the don't make crisps, don't mash bananas, don't drink smoothies thing.

I don't understand the difference between superfree and superspeed :D

Right, Google always has the answer ...

Ever wondered whats the difference between SuperFree and SuperSpeed Foods?
Historically (Before ExtraEasy when we had the Red and Green Plans) Superfree are called superfree because they can be eaten on any day. Superfree foods are very very low in calories, and high in water content, so they fill you up whilst taking in very few calories. If you increase your superfree quantities, you are likely to be restricting your portion sizes on the higher calorie foods, therefore taking in less calories overall.
SuperSpeed and Speed foods are supposed to speed up your weight loss, but aren't necessarily free on all the plans (eg, baked beans aren't free on a red day). They are often not particularly low in calories, but are filling and slow-release foods, so keep your body going for longer. Whilst they are good for you, and boost your losses, if they were a SuperFree food as well you could possibly take in too many calories to lose weight if you ate them in unlimited amounts without the SuperFree on your plate.
Clear as mud??! Lets's see who's on the ball tomorrow with a little SuperSpeed Bingo!

Taken from a SW fb page :D

I get it more... sort of :D
Started SW on 18 August 2014 - Total Weight Loss 12 lbs :T

Eat the Chinese or you know it'll snowball into a bigger blowout

Super speed - I don't actually pay attention to that sorry but I'm basically super free / free or syns that's all I base it on - I know some foods are speed but I eat what I like?
Mushy pea curry I actually just like but tends to make a bit of a trumpy bum which I suppose is good

Shala - I'm currently in the exercise place and worrying its going to slow my weight loss down

That's right people I joined the gym - I have bought the kit - I've just yet to go  I have been swimming 3 times this week twice with mini me which is a work out in itself lifting her and throwing her
And I have walked my legs off this week :/
Will relax the exercise over the weekend
And under syns so far :)
    Monday will be the decider

Three rejections for me so far this week - Woman of the year (couldn't care less) , Job interview (don't think it was for me anyway) & a man (this broke my wee heart again!!!!! )

Was going to go wild tonight and get a Chinese but as I'm looking forward and fed up of lying round like a sloth now moping I am thinking more along the lines of go to Marksies and get some nice fish or a steak to have with a salad instead and hit the gym.

I have already had an entire McCain Pepperoni Pizza, a large bag of Peanut M& M's, a tub of hummous and dear only knows what else this week that I've forgotten about : /

Shala - you enjoy that meal out. I think your attitude is right. Why pay for something you could make in the house. Its only one meal in 26 or something like that so have something you will enjoy and then get back on it.

I agree with Mildredd - get the Chinese, get it out your system and then get back on board! :D

Don't take your rejections too badly, there'll be something better round the corner xx

I will try and get back on plan tomorrow.. we had pub fish and chips for lunch and then a big fat ham sandwich on crusty bread for tea so properly off the plan and then some today :o

Thank you again, everyone for keeping me on track :D.
If people can comment on my menu (for the 3rd day in a row icon_rolleyes.gif),I would appreciate it.Then I will stop nagging :rotfl:.

    Breakky:2 medium wholemeal toast with flora light ( a teaspoon,1/2 syn),and Marmite
    large wedge of honeydew melon

    Lunch:salad-ham,2 eggs,2-3 cocktail tomatoes,carrot,cucumber,red pepper,beetroot,lettuce,mini sweetcorn.
I have not prepared a "plain " salad like this for years, and it was delicious!(Probably could have skipped the raw mini-sweetcorn).With it had 2 tabs of Helmans (1 syn)

    Afternoon: 1 apple

Tea (after repeatedly looking into cupboards and fridges and freezers and not being very inspired at all):fried bacon, tinned potato, and onion (all cooked in frylight),and raw tomato.I measured out a tablespoon of mayo (1/2 syn) to have with it,but only dipped into it once,so probably 0.000001 of a syn :rotfl:
    1 Fruitopolis yoghurt.

Later may have a couple of Kelko chocolate-covered rice cakes. If I recall, they are 2 syns each, but will check.
