Durham mim I sympathise with the migraine, blooming awful things they are!0 -
Meg72 - You are super organised!!! Looks great - well done.
I too get sick of cooking for one : ( I'm either all into the cooking and not into it at all - like most things in life with me really - all or nothing!
Folks I am still here and hanging in there!! Somehow!! :rotfl:
Three rejections for me so far this week - Woman of the year (couldn't care less) , Job interview (don't think it was for me anyway) & a man (this broke my wee heart again!!!!! )
Anyway some how I am still plodding on lol
I'm giving class a miss tonight - I need a break after the strange day that was Sunday & the competition - think X Factor meets beauty pageant and you 'll get the gist of it!!
Time to focus on me again - if you hear me mention a man on here or that man in particular before 2015 someone please fire a tranquilizer dart into my derriere!!!
I am not as bad as the last time as I expected that would be the outcome however I just don't get the mixed messages and wanting to be friends behaviour. He seems to think if we are friends then we will never fall out and he will never be upset as he won't hurt me. He has major issues!! Is it any wonder I'm kind of insane from it...............
Anyway - ENUF / NO MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Was going to go wild tonight and get a Chinese but as I'm looking forward and fed up of lying round like a sloth now moping I am thinking more along the lines of go to Marksies and get some nice fish or a steak to have with a salad instead and hit the gym.
I have already had an entire McCain Pepperoni Pizza, a large bag of Peanut M& M's, a tub of hummous and dear only knows what else this week that I've forgotten about : /
Shala - you enjoy that meal out. I think your attitude is right. Why pay for something you could make in the house. Its only one meal in 26 or something like that so have something you will enjoy and then get back on it.0 -

Lantanna So sorry you didn't get the job, I know you really wanted it, but it is their loss not yours. You are a really lovely, helpful, caring person and I'm sure you will find something soon.[/QUOTE]
Awh thank you - just saw this!! Yes triple rejection this week - like 3 slaps in the face one after the other really - but yes I will survive.
I am beating myself up no more!! xx0 -
Thank you for all the lovely comments!! Just reading them now.
Yes I'm back now - just in my own little world there for a few days but crawling out of it now.
I will not be defeated by men, interviews or woman of the year bizarreness !
P.S Its not bizarre I just can't think of an appropriate world to explain how unsettling it was!!0 -
Thanks for that mildredd.
:Tmore good losses. mupelle, it definitely can work without exercise. Looking at meg's dinner, do you think you could add tomatoes or maybe fried onions to your dinner? Your lunch looks fine but I don't think the melon and mushrooms will be enough SF to cover a third of dinner and breakfast IYSWIM.
Thanks MamanI thought the mushy peas had it covered?
Tomatoes are supposed to be well dodge for arthritis, I have them in a stew but that's all, so that they're really cooked down and onions the same for IBS (onions & garlic are the worst contributors) so I have to limit those too, i eat them, but not too much.... I thought with mushy peas & mushrooms that would sort it, am I confused about the mushy peas? I'm a bit confused about SS and SF...
