Thank you everyone for all your advice today.
At group last night the talk was the new member's talk about the "basics" of the SW plan.My weight had stayed the same this week, and I know I don't always follow the plan perfectly(mostly to do with following the 1/3 super-free.)So,with last night's talk still in my head, and really wanting to knuckle down,I thought I'd better get more serious.
This was my menu today. Please tell me how it looks (and I really don't think I could have eaten any more...........)
Before breakfast:1 apple
Breakfast: 2 slices bacon,2 poached egg, just under 1/2 tin beans
Mid-morning:a raw carrot
Lunch:huge bowl chicken-a-leekie soup(chicken, leaks, carrot, onion),followed by 2 raw tomatoes (cocktail tomatoes, had never seen those before.Bigger than plum/cherry/roma tomatoes, not as big as normal tomato)
Tea:vegetable curry,ie potato,cauliflower,green beans,carrot,onion,garlic,served with rice
Evening snack:2 Alpen bars.
Throughout day,had 300ml skimmed milk, will no doubt have the last 50ml in my tea before the day is through.
Any feedback welcome x
That menu looks great saverupper, especially the great variety of veg. Just one comment: where are the syns???;)

Managed to keep to plan yesterday ~ thank you everyone for your support, I honestly don't think I would have managed it otherwise
shala, thank you for not taking me off the chart in the first place :rotfl:
Some brilliant losses over the last few days :T Keep plodding those who have STS or put on (like I did).
Saver, did you have a HEB yesterday?? Couldn't see one on your (very nice sounding) menu.
The Quorn cottage pie was lovely last night & I would definitely recommend it. I can't do links (don't know how) but it's on the SW website ~ just search for Quorn cottage pie. I'm not veggie & I was worried it wouldn't taste 'meaty' enough because it has a tin of tomatoes & passata in, so I replaced the vegetable stock cube with an oxo cube & also added a splash of Worcestershire sauce. I'm hoping that doesn't affect the 'Greenness' of the finished dish?? I also added HEA cheese on top instead of brushing with beaten egg.
Green today:
B - raspberries, blueberries, Greek yoghurt (3.5 syns)
L - Jacket potato with cottage cheese & salad (inc. boiled egg & HEA1 cheese cubes)
D - Quorn cottage pie (1/2 HEA2 cheese), mushy peas, wholemeal pitta (HEB1)
10 whole almonds for HEB2. Plums & a pear for snacks.
Hope everyone has a good day.'A watched potato will never chit'...0 -
