I've picked up everyone's results and will post the chart later incase we have some later weigher-innerers..

I've been a bad un :o - we had indian takeaway last night, it was planned, but we were meant to be having it Thursday, OH has arranged a meal out with his mom for Thursday so we had it last night instead.. dreading the scales tomorrow now  but I enjoyed it and were on holidays so :p

Having stir fry for punishment tonight, I really don't like it but never mind..

Just to let you all know - I've added the new recipes we've had on this thread to the first page, thought it might help find them easier.

If anyone has the link to another recipe you wanted added to the list then let me know and i'll add it.

Techie question though - since I've updated my computer the smilies and links don't work on IE anymore - does anyone know how I can fix this as i'm having to use google chrome instead and I don't like it..

    Afternoon all

So glad you're sticking with us pink poppy. Shout loud if it gets rough and you need support.

I have just ordered an actifry! A huge family one. I bought the new SW magazine this morning and it has a code in for £100 off. I have wanted one for ages and now I feel justified in buying one (and I love kitchen gadgets) Only question is: Where will I put it?

    Menu for today:

B: beans and mushrooms on toast, melon (HEb)
L: mackerel (Aldi smoked mackerel, which I believe is free) and salad (beetroot, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red onion)
T: chilli con carne cooked with onions, grated carrot, mince and pasata, will cook some green beans to go with it for extra veg and rice

Saw an idea in the magazine about taking sliced ham and spreading cream cheese on it and some spring onion and peppers and rolling them up for a snack. Love that idea for evening nibbles, Will add a couple of pickled onions, yummy.

Has it updated the version of IE? Are you using the most up to date version?

On the stir fry note, do you make your own chow mein, rather than just stir fry I make a chow mein marinade, and soak the mushrooms, onions, chicken & waterchestnuts in that for like a whole day and then it's sooooo much nicer? I can add the chow mein recipe (sw altered/friendly) if you like?

    PS Chrome rocks ;)

On my stuff - my stomach is still in a grump so not so good with the superfrees until it improves so today is:

B: Toast, marmite, flora light (1/2)
S: (at work) banana & mugshot
L: 3 x corn thins (3) and mackerel fillet, extra light mayo
    S: fan wafer (2)
D: Sw chips, chicken wrapped in bacon stuffed with philly light with peppers in, mushrooms and mushy peas. (I'm not sure mushy peas really goes with this, but it seemed a good idea sw wise)
    S: Muller light toffee

    6.5 syns in total :D

I use sesame oil, soy sauce, Chinese five spice usually.. i only have chicken, carrots and spring onions in mine as i don't like all the other veg. I'm an awkward get :rotfl:

    PS Chrome rocks ;)

Its the favourites bit I can't get used to - i have all my threads that i follow on MSE on my favourites because I don't get the subscription thing (it always takes you to the first page/last page, how do you know what you've read?)

    Thanks Mupelle!

Thank you tweets, Saver-upper, mumoftwo & b_e_g for your kind words :A

Saver, did you find the potato skins post?? If not, I'll re-post, but I don't think it can be called a recipe :D

shala, can I be re-instated on the challenge list, please?? :o I'm going to give it another try. Can my target be reduced to 10lbs?? Please don't put my +4lbs on, I'll start afresh from today with my new weight, if that's ok?? :o Sorry to mess you around.

    Will post my menu later.

Glad you decided to give it another try pink poppy :j.

    I didn't want you feeling bad :)

Have you imported all your favourites, from IE to Chrome? They should all just be there for you, ready to go?

Yep my chow mein is similar, I put soy sauce, sesame oil (2), 5 spices, fresh garlic, fresh ginger (but actually the jar stuff), black pepper and a bit of chilli if I fancy it, in a tupperware, put the chicken chunks in in the morning and leave it all day. another thing you could add (extra syns but worth it) is sweet chilli dipping sauce , it gets that caramelising going on. Then I'd drain all the liquid off, for about 15 minutes by sieving it, put the liquid to one side and add the chicken and mushrooms etc to a really hot pan, so you get some real searing going on, then after that's cooked I would add in the other veg (baby corn, carrot, peppers whatevs) and noodles fry them for a bit, then I'd add the liquid back in.
