It was me who sent the private message. I sent one to people who post on this thread as I consider them my friends. I do Superpoints to earn extra pocket money and just thought I would try and get to a better earning level on there. I had received a similar private message from someone else and thought I would try the same. I apologise to anyone who I may have offended by doing this.

Not offended, was just confused cause it wouldn't open the message and said it was blocked by spam filter, was in a hurry and read you wanted me to join something so you could earn more. I was just taken by surprise.
  • Woo Hoo frogga what an amazing loss - well done you on your loss and probably more importantly those chips and then straight back on track. :T Watch out mind you, I'm going to be snapping at your heels - looking forward to getting into the 16s too but you are closer than me :p I get fed up when I think of how far I've still got to go but when I think to back to when I started at the end of March I was clicking into the 21s :o. We can do this. Defo got the SOTW from me btw ;)

It's still early days in this challenge pink poppy. Some say that holiday gains go on quickly but come off quickly too. Stick with it and see how things go. I had a gain the first week of the last challenge.

Well done on all the losses and sts so far this week. To all those with +s - keep plodding.

Good luck to everyone weighing in later in the week.

What jumps out at me is the lack of fruit and veg. Most days you only hit five. Today I had 12!! I think you really need to increase these. When I cooked the diet cola chicken I added leeks, onions, carrots, mushrooms & peppers. Served it with peas, corn and broccoli. That's 8 in one meal. Add a salad for lunch and fruit for breakfast and it's easy to exceed 10 or 12.

    Just a thought.

I have to say I thought much the same saverupper. You do seem to do quite well with fruit snacks but lots of the veg sides with your meals are things like beans, corn and peas which aren't SF. I tend to have no SFs with breakfast but make up for it by having veg with my lunch and loads more with my dinner. So I make sure I have at least a third of my food across the day SF.

Many commiserations to those who didn't get the loss they wanted today but :T to the losers.

Want to do a batch cook tomorrow using chicken breasts. Any ideas on what to cook please would be gratefully received. :D

May not be any use especially for a batch cook, but the only thing I cook in that vein (with quorn fillets) is just the fillets in a veg sauce which is really nice. I guess you'd need to at least part cook the chicken first?! [Veggie for over 25 years and have no idea how to prep meat anymore!]

Just finely chop whatever veg you have, onions, carrots, leeks, peppers, courgettes, mushrooms, those kinds of things work really well. Cook up in a pan on the hob to soften everything (can use a bit of frylight). Season with whatever you like and add a tin of tomatoes or passata to make it a bit more saucy. Then put your meat in a baking dish with the sauce and bake it all in the oven. Makes the fillets/meat really juicy and flavourful. My parents often do this with cuts of pork or chicken so it does work.

Hmmm, am I showing not only my lack of knowledge with meat but also that I don't really use recipes? :rotfl:
