Slightly random question but Christmas gifts for mini mes nursery staff?
Just wondering what other people's thoughts are on acceptable items and budgets(slowly whittling down my shopping list)
Have you thought of baking cakes or doing a traybake. I make my own jam and often give this as gifts. Although these may be too tempting for SW.Weight loss 0/2st

For those dissatisfied with Windows 8 I totally agree. Been having issues recently with connection, it keeps disconnecting after 20-40 mins, very frustrating.

I'm hitting it hard this week too and am going to try a different tactic and forgo any treats Monday to Friday. I'll have my regular 5 or 6 syns as a bit of butter and mayo on lunch or sandwiches, sauce, gravy the likes for dinner and try and leave myself some syns in reserve for a guilt free weekend splurge.
Today was:
B. Yoghurt (1) & Berries
L. HM Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato Sandwich (HEB) with a bowl of extra salad and tspn mayo (1)
D. Same as yesterday - roast pork loin, little bit of stuffing (2)made with extra onion, roast potatoes, roast butternut, carrots and peas and gravy (1) - teaspoon apple sauce (1)
Snacks: Banana, a few grapes & an appleMortgage

Hello all, this seems like a very friendly and helpful thread which is just what I need at the moment!
I am new to SW, but have done my research and think I'm getting my head round it!
I have been calorie counting for the past couple of years, and have lost 5 and a half stone (well, I'm currently 8lbs up on my lowest). However, I keep putting weight on when I go on holiday/xmas etc and it just piles on (I went from 9.7 to 10.3 in 2 weeks on holiday ). Then it takes an age to come off again. I think the problem I have is that I have been restricting my calorie intake so much that when I stop, my body is hanging onto every ounce!
So I need to teach myself to eat again and have been thinking about SW as I know so many people who do so well on it. I am really worried that I'll gain this week though as I am eating more than I used to :-(
But I really need to fix my metabolism as I think it's a bit messed up so I am really hoping this works for me. I am going it alone with the help of a friend who has let me use her books etc.
Today's menu looks like this:
Breakfast: Ham, mushroom, onion and courgette muffins (made with egg, tweaked recipe from the SW website), plum and cup of tea (I'll use milk as my HEA)
Lunch: 1/4 sw quiche made with loads of veg, bacon and fat free cottage cheese (this was amazing, I'd eat this if I wasn't on SW quite happily!) strawberries, grapes, coffee
Dinner: Beef and bean stew made with a ton of veg (sweet potato, potato, courgette, tomatoes, carrots, onions and peppers) 3 ryvita (half HEB) with cottage cheese . Cup of tea
Snacks: 1 alpen light bar, and very possibly a muller (I have frozen a mint one which I'm well excited about!)
I need to save my syns for wine at the weekend so I will be trying to have a few syn free days if I can.
Does this sound alright? Hope everyone has a good afternoon :-)0 -
