Morning everyone! Have lost 0.5lbs this week, which is still a loss so I'm not complaining. Really want to get to 11st by the end of September so only 5lbs to go now!

Had a busy weekend with wedding fairs so didn't get a chance to exercise but have stuck to plan. Feeling quite bloated so am upping the water and peppermint tea intake today and we'll see what happens.

Accidentally planned to have an all green week which I've never done before so it will be interesting to see how it effects the scales next Monday. Today's food:

B - Branflakes (HEB), banana, melon
L - Batchelor's golden rice with salad (mixed leaves, cherry tomatoes, red pepper, red onion)
D - Carrot, cumin and kidney bean burgers, topped with cheese (HEA) and served with salad
S - banana, apple, 2 clementines, weetabix oaty bar (HEB)

Hope you've all had a good weekend and well done to all the losers for last week!

    Hi all

Weighed this morning and a 1lb gain - however I was wearing jeans not tights so am going to weigh again on Thursday morning after a week of hitting it hard - mushy pea curry awaits!

    Hope all well xx

Fab loss frogga, hope today goes well for you and a big :T to every other loser too.:)

Don't worry janie, gaining on holiday is the law so check in with the damage when you get back. One plus is that weight gained quickly often comes off quickly.;) Start doing your meal plan if you've got time.

Clean jeans on this morning so the tightness is reminding me that I need to be as careful as possible. Today's going to be a good day though.

    EE plan:

B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, HEA milk
L: lentil and veg soup if at home or a salad or JP if I'm out not sure where I'll be when I'm hungry.
D: chicken jambalaya (onion, peppers, courgette, carrots, tomatoes, peas)
    Syns: scrape of spread

Shala - I'm weighing in on Monday? My first weigh in will be after a week from the start of the challenge - I'm hoping for a loss

Slightly random question but Christmas gifts for mini mes nursery staff?
Just wondering what other people's thoughts are on acceptable items and budgets :/ (slowly whittling down my shopping list)

Just a wee minder as we say up here.
A mug, a candle or similar.
I used to look for sales and buy 3 the same.
& now DS is 21 this month!!!!!

I got round the Great North Run alive! Did it in 3:19 which was three mins faster than previous two years (did 3:22 two years running) so at least I did a PB-think it will be my last one as been hard fitting in any sort of training and fundraising x

    Great result :j

Morning - everyone ready for week two of the challenge!!:D:D good!!

Mupelle - well done for resisting picnic goodies, however, eating fish skin _pale_ I read an article in GF mag saying that a restaurant is serving fried.dried fish skin and chicken skin as the taste is so amazing _pale_

Gbatey - brilliant time for the GNR :j well done on getting your PB too

applepad - the ladies on minimins say kung po chicken is 12-14 syns for 400g portion. Always find if you Google "SYNS" and the thing you want to eat you get someone, somewhere who has already got the answer... hope that helps..

Redcola - stick your list up and lets see what we can do...

Would love to know how lantanna got on, it's her interview today too isn't it? GOOD LUCK Lantanna, sending positive vibes!!!

Great loss Frogga - knew you could do it ;)

I've also started some strength training in the hope of building up a bit of muscle as I have none at all.. :rotfl:so if my weight loss slows down i'll blame that

    have a good day xx

Thank you Tweets and MupElle, what are the board rules though? Will check them out, basically I just wanted ideas on what to cook with what I have in, minimum spending involved. I did get some great budget recipes upthread, so will be using them too

That is no bother at all.
    Post away
