Afternoon
I was so motivated and then life got in the way. I have had a week of dramas, but I stayed the same this week. I have not been out running, haven't walked home from work and I have not been sticking to the plan, so I am happy to not have gained.
Hopefully, the coming week will be better.
Have a great week everyone

I bought kallos whole grain rice cakes this morning. Does anyone know if they can be used as a HEb? I quite like them with chilli Philly or laughing cow triangles
No sadly not (although it does say gluten intolerant members can have 4 plain rice cakes). The ones you have are 1.5 syns each so not bad for a snack if you enjoy them. When I was checking, I noticed that Aldi rice cakes (all flavours) are 1.5 syns too and probably much cheaper.
lauri, there are lots of people that choose to give up bread or lower carbs as it helps their loss. That's OK provided it's sustainable. If you're feeling deprived then it would be hard to keep eating that way long term. I really believe that having plenty of SFs matters whatever plan you're on but that's just my opinion not SW policy. Is it that you just don't like fruit and veg or does it not agree with you?0 -
.
You are 100% correct the beef is my 2nd HEB, I've edited that into my other post (I had counted it in my diary as 2nd one just forgot to type it). 60g of beef isn't much but that's fine by me, I could live on potatoes. A HEB of weetabix minis isn't a lot either, I'm almost sure it works out as 14 of them but I'll double check this evening and might just bag them up for work & bring my raisin wheats from work home and do the same, it'll keep me right..
I would've thought cutting out bread (I would've had 2 rounds of white toast with butter & maybe a sandwich for lunch, a day) would have been a great help, but doesn't seem to have made a lot of difference.
I wouldn't dream of doing all red days, I know I couldn't stick to it at all & I'd end up eating the house  but a few here and there should be ok.
The only veg I like are peas, mushrooms, onions, peppers. A lot of fruit makes my mouth itch and feel all tingly so I avoid it & I'm not very adventurous tbh. I do manage some melon and grapes every now and again. I had a melon (1/4 each day) Mon - Thurs for breakfast along with a syn free Mullerlight. But after I do that for a week I can't face melon for another while lol
Am planning a red day tomorrow
B: weetabix minis & Milk & cup of tea (HEB, HEA & 1 syn)
L: Chicken salad & 1 babybel light packed into an Asda bfree wrap with lighter than light mayo (chicken & salad free, Babybel Light 2 syns, HEB for wrap & 1 syn for mayo)Steak with salad, cheese, boiled egg and a bit of salad cream (free, free, HEA, free & 4 syns for salad cream)
Snacks & drinks: mullerlight (free), Rocky road Hifi Bar (3 syns) & lots of NAS squash (free)
Hoping this looks ok for a red day?
Whoa - sorry for long post0 -
Hellooo everybody
Happy Sunday
I went to a big picnic in the park, for one of my best friend's kid's birthdays today. I packed up my lunch, packed lots of treats for DH and DS and there was cake and sweets and all sorts - I managed to only have my potato salad, a banana and a jaffa cake I'm RIGHT proud
Today is/was:
B: Toast with marmite, scrape of flora (hexb) (1)
L: Potato salad with ham, eggs and veg (1/2 for extra light mayo)
S: Banana, jaffa cake and seafood sticksCous Cous, Roasted Veg and Chicken.
S: Toffee Muller light and NAS squash I might treat myself and break a waffle cone into the yoghurt - I'm living on the edge(2.5)

Anyone have an idea of how many syns in a Chinese takeaway Kung po chicken? I had 1 last week before my first weigh in, but a bit worried about having another one as it had cashew nuts in0
-
So have started to make a meal plan based on the suggestions I had, and wondered is there somewhere I could post what I have in and ask for suggestions on meal ideas? Sometimes a fresh set of eyes are all is needed. Could I do it here, or the old style board, or is it not done so much anymore?0
