I'm not a big fan of frozen meals so I will let others do the tasting!! I will probably try the sausages and meatballs though at some stage.
For £3 I'd rather go to Marks and Spencers and spend another 50p - £1 and get something really nice : /
Not that I'm saying these won't be high quality!!0 -

I've been lurking on this thread since the summer when I joined SW. I've not posted because I didn't feel like I had much to contribute but I just wanted to say thank you to you all. I've learned so much from following this thread, picked up loads of tips and inspiration.
I hope you all have a good xmas & new year.
I'm sure you have lots to contribute!! Happy xmas to you 20 -
Welcome to the thread starrystarry
Like the sound of those meals.. Bit of a trek to get to Iceland for me so won't be going out of my way to try them.. Might pop in if near one tho
My plan for Christmas is to stay on planlong shift Xmas eve into Xmas day.. Finish at lunch time then having dinner at my sisters.. WI Boxing Day.. I want my 4 stone award!
Will treat myself then to a humongous bag of Doritos and dip.. I've missed them :rotfl:
Have a good day everyone x0 -
That hot smoked salmon pasta sounds amazing
will be trying that plus the veggie pasta and sweet potato curry. Will stick to my syn free Quorn meatballs and low syn Quorn and free Linda McCartney sausages though! That's quite expensive although I hear they're going to be 'generous' portions so that's maybe why.

Come January starry, you'll be as much in the know as anyone else on the new plan so why not join in instead of lurking? You don't need to be knowledgeable, just ask questions and tell us how you're doing???
Wouldn't it be good idea if there was a free taster session at every SW group to launch the meals? I might suggest it if SW don't do it nationally.
Today I have to decorate the house/tree, wrap/sort DD1's birthday presents for tomorrow and probably do a small shop to tide us over until festivities start. Plus I have some ironing to do. Must get off here and get started!
Today's menu:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB porage, HEA milk
L: plenty of LOs in fridge or JP and cottage cheese. Not hungry at the moment.Lancashire hotpot with cabbage
Syns: squirt of syrup, I know there maybe some in hotpot, weekend wine.:D0 -
Well done on all the losses!
Got weigh in tomorrow morning. Peeked at my scales this morning and there's no change from last week. I've been 100% on plan so I don't get it.
B - Oats (HEB), yoghurt, frozen fruit
S - Freddo (5)
L - Kabuto noodles (1.5), banana, clementine
S - Cheese, muller greek (0.5)
D - Bacon and veg pasta
Got to make my falafels for taster tomorrow. Think I might do some yoghurt dip and maybe a chilli one to go with.0 -

That's a good point. Will be very interested to see what the changes are, though I can't promise I'll be following the new rules. The current EE plan is working well for me so I may just be a rebel and carry on as normal. I've lost 70lbs so far0 -
I'm way behind today - got up later than usual, my sister rang me just after 9 and was on the phone for a hour so didn't get my breakfast until after 10!!!
I'm trying to sort out my old laptop to give to DD1 so deleting some of the programmes that she doesn't want (a couple of which are my finance programmes so they need to come off!) Seems to be taking ages though.
Plan today is another EE day:
B - scrambled eggs on toast
L - LO falalel, salad; pineapple
D - gremalata fish, chips & peas
HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
HEB - bread
Syns - 3 truffles (LO from yesterday's taster!) 9:eek:; weekend wine. Think there is a couple of syns in the gremalata but need to check.
So will definitely be over syns today.
As I won't be weighing again until the first week in new year (group WI is changed to Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve and I can't make them on a Wednesday - no car!) think I may find it harder to be "good" between now and the new year and will be playing "catch up from New Year until WI on 8 January. Hoping not to put on more than 2-3 lb over the 2 weeks.

Hiya everyone, just having a quick catch up with you all before I dash off to get my eyes done.
Well done on the fab losses peoples :T
Welcome to new people who are delurking. :hello:
Thanks for info on new meals.
EE is definitely working for you starry and I know what you mean on being a bit of a rebel and sticking with it if we don't like the new ways. Will reserve judgement on it for now until we know more. Well done on your fantastic loss so far. :T
Haven't really achieved a great deal so far today just seem to be going around in circles.
Take care everyone

Brilliant weight loss so far.. :T
I'm sure Iceland will do 2 for £5 at some point on the meals... I bet the sausages go like wildfire!!
Just been to our Iceland Food Warehouse, just wanted to have a look at the party food. It wasn't for me so I didn't buy any but I did buy quite a bit of reduced price fresh meat - I guess people aren't expecting Iceland to sell fresh meat so it doesn't sell :T
Forgot that I had a dentist appointment today so I've a sore mouth againsoft food for me - afraid I had some white bread - fell off the wagon already :rotfl: back on it tomorrow..
Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0
