    . :T

Haven't really achieved a great deal so far today just seem to be going around in circles.

    Take care everyone

I'm telling myself I'm getting there.;)

I've put the decorations up. Prepped dinner and had my lunch (JP with cottage cheese). SFs a bit low so far so added leeks and mushrooms to the SW hotpot recipe for later.

I'm going to do a mini meal plan to last until next Tuesday and a small shop now. Later I'll have to do the tree as it's in a pot and too heavy for me to lift on my own.

    Back soon.:xmassmile

Well done on all the losses!

Got weigh in tomorrow morning. Peeked at my scales this morning and there's no change from last week. I've been 100% on plan so I don't get it.

B - Oats (HEB), yoghurt, frozen fruit
    S - Freddo (5)
    L - Kabuto noodles (1.5), banana, clementine
    S - Cheese, muller greek (0.5)
D - Bacon and veg pasta

Got to make my falafels for taster tomorrow. Think I might do some yoghurt dip and maybe a chilli one to go with.

Muso I know it's annoying when you stick to plan and sts, I had a few weeks of it... i'd just review what you're doing and see if you're missing anything.. I went back to checking everything and I lost 2 lb the next week..

    Do you write everything down?
    Are you drinking enough?
Are your portion sizes a bit big?
    Do you weigh/measure your HE's?
    Could it be hormonal?
Do you eat a lot of food with salt - it makes you retain water - processed foods are usually quite high in salt.

Just keep plodding, if you're following plan then the weight will come off at some point!!
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

    Hello everyone,

I've been lurking on this thread since the summer when I joined SW. I've not posted because I didn't feel like I had much to contribute but I just wanted to say thank you to you all. I've learned so much from following this thread, picked up loads of tips and inspiration.

I hope you all have a good xmas & new year.

    Good Afternoon :)

    Welcome to the thread :)

Thanks for replying. I'm only in week 2 so I'm still following things pretty rigidly. The only thing that could be an issue is portion sizes, but then I never feel stuffed and I get hungry again quite quickly. When I did slimming world a couple of years ago I lost 10lb in the first 2 weeks so it's a bit disheartening. I'm roughly the same start weight as before. The only thing I can think of that's different is that I'm no longer on the pill. Ah well, will just have to see what the scales say tomorrow!

    The sprout!

I'm not a lover.. Being bought up on soggy sprouts put me off them for life.. Found myself ogling Mary Berry's on TV earlier.. She did them with pancetta and chestnuts.. Looked lush but an awful lot of oil was involved and I've never tried chestnuts.. Quite like the look of them shredded with bacon..

    How do you do yours?

    ;)

    Evening all
Rotten day, ive felt rubbish all day. However an emergency trip to the doctors at 5.45 told me that there's nothing seriously wrong and that ive got a virus. However bizarrely my appetite has been ok but I've craved stodge and rubbish.. Nearly succumbed to the lure of the chippy but I was good :)
I'm going off into wifi exile for Xmas tomorrow so posting now.
    Today's food plan:
B: HEXB Alpen Light x 2, 2 satsumas, pint of NAS
L: 2 Quorn SF Chicken Burgers (5 syns) Quorn Cumberland sausages (4 syns) Uncle Ben's Mexican Rice with lime (2.5 syns) 2 0% peach Activia pint of NAS
T: 2 Quorn lamb grills, Smash, steamed veg. 2 mini milks (3 syns) cup of green tea.
    Syns: 14.5
Body magic: a good energetic walk.
A very Merry Christmas everyone, see you on the other side :) xx

:xmassmile so glad there's nothing seriously wrong MrsR and well done for not giving in to the chippy. Have a lovely Christmas. Are you off to your mum? I know she does good SW meals.

I had a friend who used to joke that his mum got up early on Christmas morning to put the sprouts on!!:rotfl: Personally, it's one veg I've never learned to like. DH and DD2 like them but I only cook them once a year. DD2 isn't coming this year so I'll go somewhere I can just buy a handful loose. So, although I'm told they're lovely stir fried with bacon I'll just be doing a basic poach in water. DH says they're fine, I don't overcook them and apparently there's no need to cut crosses in the bottom either.

I've had a good day but did succumb to one chocolate, marzipan heart. Not too bad syn wise probably but just goes to show I'm not to be trusted with Christmas sweets around.

Tomorrow will be a fairly off plan day for DD1's birthday and the football Crunchie in between but back on it on Sunday.:xmassmile

Christmas morning? I think my mum used to start boiling hers on 1st Dec in time for the Xmas dinner :rotfl:

I'm going to be brave and try them, like the stir fried idea.. Don't think I could go for whole ones ;)
