I had breakfast and then lots of savoury tasters so didn't need lunch either.
I hope you don't miss out on the new books if you can't get there for a couple of weeks.
Consultant said a couple of weeks ago that we'd get them free up until 17 January, after that we'd have to pay £10 for them.
Have had a look at the 7 day menus in the latest magazine and the only difference I can see is that there is no mention of how many syns to have a day but they seem to be lower than 10-15 most days. I did notice that on Wednesday it says "You're halfway through the week, celebrate with 25ml of Jack Daniels (3 syns)"! and on Saturday "treat yourself to a glass of dry white wine (125 ml 4 syns)!
Don't remember them ever saying treat yourself to alcohol before! Maybe that's why so many of us lose because we do treat ourselves (probably too regularly, LOL!)

Hiya
Just been watching Nigella at Christmas and I feel like I've gained a few pounds from all the gorgeous food she cooked. And she was in one of my favourite places - Venice - really want to go there again.
We're going to Benidorm for Christmas so I'm going to have those 3 days off SW, it will be hard to keep to plan in a hotel, but I won't go mad. I'm going to stick to the plan until then and get straight back on it when we return.
We're going for a Chinese meal on New Years eve, and again, I won't be on plan, but for the first time in ages I'll have a head start on 1st January, not having to deal with a huge Christmas gain.
What's your strategy for the coming week?

:T to shala, mich and maisie and any other losers I may have missed.
Sorry you're still feeling poorly wiz. I'm feeling much brighter today. Losing a pound has convinced me I'm managing to maintain.
LL, my plan is to be off plan for as few days as possible but still enjoy myself. For me that's not hugely about food but I will be having a bit more than a small glass of wine (honestly denise, I don't call that a treat.). So I'll be having the Chinese on Saturday then back to normal SW probably until Christmas Eve. I know I sound like a wino:( but the biggest change for me will be midweek drinking although I am planning some crisps and extra bread for turkey/gammon sandwiches and a few chocs (been promising myself chocolate marzipan). We might have a fish and chip supper one night and there's talk of a meal out. I'm getting carried away now, I think I'll stop there.:rotfl:0 -
Well done to everyone who lost this week - I just managed to stay the same.
My next weigh-in is on Tuesday and I hope to lose something at least.
I have no willpower when I am faced with a buffet, and have attended several over the last couple of weeks.
Plan for today:
Breakfast - porridge with blueberries
Snack - carrot or celery stick
Lunch - I'm going to make mushroom soup if I get time
Snack - a pear if I'm hungry
Dinner - stir-fry beef with vegetables and a small portion of rice0 -
Wow to those with losses!
Welcome to the new thread members. Good luck with your SW journey
Our consultant is giving out the new information the week after Christmas so that will be the 30th for us. It will be interesting to see the changes and I'll try and give it a go.
Still annoyed at my gain! I'm writing everything down again this week, because in hindsight I was almost certainly too lax on syns and I have now asked hubby to hide our daughter's smartiesAside from that there is nothing much in the house that's bad, although I have now bought some ferrero rocher for presents (because I don't like them and won't indulge!).
