:santa2: What about something to do with 'New Year, New Plan, New Me with SW'? Just thought I'd start the ball rolling shala.tatabubbly wrote: »Hi guys! I'd like to start back up after Xmas! I've 9 months to my wedding so I need to start hitting some targets! I will join you all in the new thread!!
Hi there. You're joining at the right time with the new plan starting. How much are you hoping to lose by the wedding?
Went to WI this morning and I lost 1lb. I'm delighted with that as I was really expecting a gain. I'm so pleased to have kept all the party nibbles and meals out under control.
Our group was enjoyable this morning as only a small crowd had stayed. It was also a taster although I didn't know as I hadn't been for some weeks. So no happy clappy and some sensible discussion despite a few daft games.
Someone made a lovely cheesy potato pie. OK so it had a lot of processed stuff but incredibly cheesey without cheese! Basically it was cheese&onion smash, chive cottage cheese, broccoli& cheese pasta n sauce, 3 eggs and half a pint of water to make up the packets. Make up the packets, then mix everything to gether and bake. It was like a quiche and I suppose you could easily add some cooked bacon or softened onion to make it more authentic. Someone had also brought these from Iceland

which were yummy and free. Plus little chicken tikka bites which were half a syn for 4.
Our consultant was keeping mum about changes but it was obvious that everyone had seen various leaks on FB etc. Next week, we're having an extra day (as our WI is on 25th) on Tuesday 23rd when she's doing a simple half hour talk and WI morning and evening. This is when we're having the basics of the new plan and first opportunity for new packs. So all will soon be revealed!0 -
Hi Maman sorry you are struggling just do your best. It's hard this time of year. X :beer:0

Been to WI this morning and amazingly I've managed to STS! Absolutely no idea how, although most food has been on plan it was just the wine I was worried about - was definitely over on syns so was expecting a gain.
We also had tasters this morning but there was a lot of sweet stuff which I don't usually eat although I couldn't resist the rum truffles and baileys truffles! Think I've probably already had my syns for today, LOL!
Didn't have breakfast this morning as it was WI but plenty of tasters after which meant I didn't need any lunch either!
Tonight's dinner will be LO squash, lentil & chickpea curry with rice. Don't think I'll be needing anything else though.
Our consultant has said that the new packs and her talk about the plan will be on New Year's Eve (we have WI on Wednesday next week and the week after - she would normally have done WI on New Year's Day but as our group takes place in a nightclub nobody would want to be there a few hours after it closes!!!)
I don't think I can get to group next week or the week after as DH needs the car to get to a clinic on Wednesdays for the next few weeks so I'm banking on you guys telling me all about the new plan as soon as you know what it entails!

Well done mumoftwo, that's a brilliant loss, what did you do different this week?
Denise- that curry sounds delicious, is there a recipe for it somewhere?
