Morning everyone
Well done to those with losses (I've read back and forgotten already, sorry!)
We had our party last night. I cooked a bag of quorn chicken style dippers due to lack of energy and time and they all went. Only half a syn each despite the breadcrumbs. We had lots of sausages, a few quite impressive creations and rice and couscous and pasta salads. The savoury food was nice but I tried a couple of the sweet things and confirmed to myself that sweetener does not do it for me!
Thanks for the chart Shala. I'm afraid my final push is done with and not so much pushing as failing1lb gain at WI.
So annoyed as I can't really put my finger on what I did wrong. I know that I lost track of writing things down early in the week and apparently with it I lost track of portion control and syns I guess. Have already started writing this morning - I refuse to start going backwards at this point. I wouldn't have minded a small gain after Christmas but this one has really hit me hard.
I was bang on a stone last week and thought I would break the stone barrier . Plus when I put it on my graph on SW online it moved my predicted hitting target date from March time to off the chart for the timeframe:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Mmm them fruit skewers all look nice  with a nice cheesecake dip made from quark and vanilla..
So it's review time of the week again, here's your chart...
SOTW goes to... :j:TB_E_G:T:j
and we have lots of targets met :T:T
Lets have one more push for the final week and then we'll have a break over Xmas!!
Next challenge will start next year :j hope you're all ready!!
Thanks for all your hard work Shala. What will we call the new Challenge? :think:Morning all just been out to post Christmas cards through neighbours doors as I received a few yesterday and was thinking what a shame it is that most of these end up in the recycling bin and how much nicer it is to receive a virtual one.
I really liked this one so thought I would share it . Santas getting in a bit of body magic.
Love it Meg. :rotfl: Well done on your loss too. :T
Sorry you have had a gain too this week Crabapple. Please don't say you have failed when you have come so far. In all honesty I don't know where my gain came from because as far as I was concerned I had been so well behaved. The only thing that may have contributed is the fact I hadn't maybe drank enough for the last few days while feeling sh!tty. We'll not beat ourselves up about it. We will plod on over the next couple of weeks and then we will give it 110%.Know what you mean about sweetener not 'hitting the spot'.
Getting ready to walk down to Mum's - not that far but it is soooooo dark  Thankfully I think the rain has eased to how it has been through the night. Ouch ............ just rubbed my eyes and they feel as though they have been poked with hot pokers. Started coughing again - so much at times it is making me feel sickly.Had been planning a girlie day with bf - will have to see how I feel a bit later on.
Take care everyone

Morning,
The chart looks great ! :j
Some great losses! :T
Not feeling the love here either - for anything in fact!
PMT Bloat has hit - weigh in not looking good for tomorrow.0 -
Weigh in last night, another -2lbs for me Shah!
For the person who asked about when Iceland was launching the meal deals, it is the 16th Jan.
Had our party, really good and my peppermint aero brownies were such a success I had to cut them in half to make them 1 Syn each!
Tried some really nice stuff, stuff I might not think about trying at home so got some good ideas.
Mince Pies using Brown Bread as pastry
Dahl
Scanbran Cake
Nice houmous
Fake Ferroro Rocher
I thought the rice pudding made with almond milk was a bit0 -
I'm weighing and running tomorrow night so won't be staying for our taster. Need to go shopping and find something to wear for Saturday night.
Someone made a cottage pie at our last taster and that went down really well, there was a bit of lasagne that went down well too and anything sweet that's baked always seems to shift!
In this cold weather I would say anything hot and snacky would be good : )0 -
Morning
Thanks for the chart Shala moo, everybody is doing really well.
:T
I'm so keen to get my slinky target I've been tempted to weigh myself everyday but I'm resisting, partly because I've got a feeling it isn't going to happen. Not for any particular reason, I just feel heavy this week. All will be revealed on Friday.
I'm off to the hairdresser this morning, maybe that will help!
Thanks for the virtual Christmas card Meg. I got my first proper one last night, I really must write mine. Family in the UK have been done and posted, it's all our friends here I need to do.
Have a good day.

I love a good cottage pie or lasgane  might have to have lasagne for my tea!
I'm failing a bit miserably this week at planning.. i have no idea what we're having for tea any nightand we don't really have much in the freezer.. I don't want to undo all my good work so i need to sort it tonight and get back to it!! It's not helping that OH is out every night so tea needs to be quick to cook and eat..
I did make some nachos yestderay - sliced a potato, sprayed with oil, cooked it on quite high in the oven and then topped with HEa of cheese and salsa - it was quite nice although nothing like having proper nachos :rotfl:

Does anybody have any opinions on how diet fizzy drinks can affect weight loss? Not seeing any movement on scales this week and have been sticking to the plan religiously. I'm wondering if it could be bloat from the fizzy. I drink up to about 2L of Pepsi Max a day:eek: Cutting it for today to see if it helps.
Thinking of doing falafel balls for taster on saturday possibly with a couple of low syn dips. Only trouble is they do tend to be better warm.0
