I have 2 :xmastree::xmastree: although I make OH decorate the big one as I find it tedious!:rotfl:

That's why I buy the big stand up characters - they make the house look xmassy with no effort other than bringing them down the stairs! :j

I do like a nice lit up house to look at.. I love going walking round the estate and seeing everyone's lights, the more sophisticated ones are pretty but I do love a good light fest to gawk at :D

    Waste of electricity though :money:
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

Hope you had a good time pooh and well done for getting back on plan. I rely on clothes to tell me how I'm doing too.

The light sachets (10g mint and plain) from Aldi are 2 syns.

We ended up having our supper as a late lunch at about 3.30 p.m. I'll have to be very careful with the nibbles when I'm out later. Definitely no wine syns (we only have tea at my dance group) but must be aware of crisps, cakes etc.

I never put up any decorations until just before Christmas except cards are going up as they arrive (still haven't sent mine:o). I'll get the tree (comes in from garden in a pot) and minimal decorations done by Friday. DD1's birthday is on 20th and I've always decorated in time for that.

    Good Afternoon :)

I also don't have a tree I put my cards up and take them down Boxing Day :D

Good luck getting your 4 stone award :)

Love this! I might have to pinch it and use it for my FB profile picture!

We've had Christmas lights up outside since November and we've got a tree in the awning (just a small one) but some of our neighbours really go overboard, with a mixture of solar and led lights, anything else would blow the electric.

I try not to be a bah humbug and working in a school you have no choice but to get into the spirit but I feel myself falling deeper and deeper into the grief pit the closer to Christmas we get. If I had my way we wouldn't have a tree. Only get a few family cards but children send loads to me but I dont put them up :(. I leave it as late as possible to put tree up. Even when my son was little the tree never went up until school finished. So some time after Friday the tree will make an appearance [if I don't mention it maybe it wont :p ].

Spent the weekend at one cemetery or another. Got very upset at my sons grave as someone had put plastic roses and a windmill on it. Now if its a family member I appreciate the gesture but wish they would let me know so it doesn't come as such a shock. Its not the first time either. Makes me wonder if its someone getting the wrong grave.

Its Receptions christmas party tomorrow so plastering on the fake smile along with sons christmas jumper and hubbys santa hat [I have nothing christmassy myself]. Jumper fits like a dress though :o.

Well done losers and hugs to those in need, Keep the Faith all :A
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
