Shah - There's a week on the spreadsheet I forgot to put my weight loss in, somewhere in the middle. Can you put it down as -1lb if its not too late?

    Course I can :D

Last week of the challenge everyone :j:T make it a good one!! :J I haven't worked out how much we have to lose to meet our goal but someone's gonna have to step up and lose a good couple of stone again ;):rotfl:

Just keep going everybody, damage limitation time xx

this is a good way to describe it.. I intend to enjoy myself food wise over Xmas, it's always been about food for me, I don't drink. But I will have that nagging feeling in my head going "are you sure you want that extra bit of choc etc"

I'm ok with putting weight on because I know I can lose it again, i know other people would rather not, but I joined SW classes to lose weight for Xmas so I didn't feel guilty for putting more on top of my top weight IYSWIM.

There's quite a good article on the SW website about coping with Xmas.. 3 options - stick to plan, flexi syn or just enjoy yourself and know you'll get back on plan after. I'm the latter one :D with a bit of caution thrown in..

P.s. I did lose 5lbs over Xmas the first time I was doing SW:eek: :rotfl:ohhhh I had evil looks when I weighed in!!

Right I've waffled enough.. Green day for me again today
B - melon, pineapple, coconut quark
L - Lo pasta bake (heb)
T - egg, chips, LM sausages, bread (heb) salad
    S - milk (hea)

Leaving my syns for a few bits of choc later...

That's brilliant wiz, even if you lost it painfully. I'm not sure if your computer is playing you up or you can't remember how to enlarge/colour. What I do is highlight the words 'down a pound' then while it's highlighted go to the font size and colour and change them then click back on the highlighted word to remove it. Whatever, you're down a pound!

Meg - love the everlasting chocolate - if only (for those that can't resist chocolate)! For me it would need to be everlasting wine, LOL!

Let me know where you can buy it and I'll be first in the queue denise! Most of my syns go on wine. Chocolate I can live without and haven't been sharing with DH for a week or so.

I struggle to get really low fat mince, I use the 12% fat stuff and drain off the fat, obviously only useful if done in a Wok or something. Our consultant says its not technically correct, but who's to know.

I think there are a few people on here who use higher fat mince either for money reasons or because family prefer it. Most of the time I can get it in Sainsbury's or Waitrose. It's £7 a kg in Sainsbury's currently (2 packs for £7) and sometimes if I'm really lucky it's YS. I live in a big city so have most supermarkets available to me.

Not quite sure how meals are going to work out today as both DH and I are in and out with various meetings etc. I'll put down my plan and report back later how it goes:

    EE menu:
B: NAS Ribena, 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: cold meat, veg and pickles
D: SW burger and chips, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, peas
Syns: scrape of spread, squirt of HP

I'm off to another party with nibbles tonight but I'm definitely having supper first. I'll take more SF stuff (peppers and cornichons) and try to be restrained.:)
  • Went to my Mums for lunch yesterday and she gave me the leftover beef joint, so having a Sainsbury's Stir Fry meal deal with the leftovers

Sorry folks I cant fathom how the everlasting chocolate works either,

Think this would work for everlasting wine though, you would never want to open the bottle.

    Hello. :hello:
Sorry I've been missing , but ive been away and broadband was just about zilch, but I'm back, and trying really hard now to stick to it 100% because last week was terrible (well actually it was a lovely week, but food wise was a disaster) however the up side is that I'm so sick of mince pies, biscuits and stuff like that, that at the moment I really don't want it and am not tempted to go and get any more!:)
I wasn't able to get to WI so if it's not too late please can I STS, please Shala. I've got till Thursday to try to pull it back, so we'll see what the damage is then! :)
I havnt read back on the thread yet, it's grown loads over the last week, but will have a look at that this evening. Hope it's all going ok for you all on here. Speak to you again soon :xmassmile

Well done on your loss wiz - hope you're feeling better now!

For two days this week I have eaten my entire days worth of syns as smarties. I can't help thinking this is an unwise move :o especially as I have to buy more for my daughter (that I am then 'helping' her eat).

I can't live without chocolate but hardly ever drink. I figure syns are for whatever you can't live without!

Meals are going okay. Because I have to pander to a somewhat fussy toddler I often seem to have strange lunches! She likes rice so today was a rice meal - she had half a packet of uncle ben's microwave rice, I had the other (2 syns ish) and a bag of microwave veg with mine so it was pretty on-plan.
