  • joedenise If you can't find out exactly for the ostrich burger I would perhaps use the values for a turkey burger, as I think both are pretty lean meats.

    Plan for today:
B- Greek muller (0.5), clementine, banana
    S- Little dairy milk (5.5)
L - Eden project soup, wholemeal pitta (HEB)
    S - Clementine, cheese (HEA)
D - Chicken, potato and spinach curry with rice, sorbet (5)

Can anybody suggest any good recipes for diced pork? Got some packs on reduced to clear for the freezer but struggling for ideas. Preferably not curry, as I've managed to eat about 4 variations of curry so far this week!

    Morning

Last night's roast dinner went well, managed to cook everything without blowing the electric which is quite an achievement in a caravan when you're limited to 10amps.

Didn't use an HEB yesterday so I'm carrying it forward to today so we can have 2 chicken fajitas each. That's a good thing about EE, I often don't need the HEB as they don't need to be used for meat or carbs like on red and green.

Not sure what lunch is going to be yet, might make some minestrone soup, or a salad.

    Have a good day.

    Morning everyone.

Does this work? I figured quorn wouldn't cut it for those recipes. What type of quorn do you use?

    Hi crabapple
Yes it works nicely! I use quorn 'chicken' pieces so fairly similar to the actual chicken that's supposed to be used. I'm not the only one either- I know of someone else who uses Quorn and she says it's fine. I also use cherry diet Pepsi instead of plain as it gives it a lovely sweet flavour :)

Mullerlights - I eat at least two a day, if you go through them fairly quick (as they're a bit short dated), Heron Foods has them for 20p (smaller cartons) but select flavours and 99p store had a multipack of 6.

Can anyone give me an update on the challenge or when we started? I think I said a stone but not sure if I'm close or not

Thanks for the info about the ostrich burgers. The photo on Instagram is really helpful - can't believe the crocodile ones are 4.5! Think I'll stick with the ostrich and give DH the crocodile ones!

I jumped on my scales this morning just before leaving for group and it was looking as though I might just have stayed within target so decided to get weighed after all and find out how much damage had been done! I needn't have worried at all I'd actually LOST 0.5lb! I think either my scales are playing up or the ones at SW are! Lots of people who expected a gain this morning had lost so maybe it was the scales but I'm not going to worry about it and just stick to plan as much as possible this week and hope I'll see another loss next week.

  • Ta, my work computer doesn't allow it, will check at home

I find the scales at home are less forgiving, if I weigh myself at home before I go I can normally knock a pound off my SW weight
