Annie - congratulations on your 6st award - you must be so so proud. :j:T:j:T

retiredlady - I'm sure that 1lb will disappear next week along with some of his friends. ;) Your doggy is a real cutie. :D

jock - fab loss and well done on getting your 2.5 shiney. The way you're going that next 4lb will be a doddle. ;)

mumoftwo - well done on your loss too :T

Another here who doesn't have unlimited carbs - tend to measure potatoes, pasta and rice anyway. Managed to lose 5st so far with EE so if I don't like the new plan will just stick with EE - all we can do is give it a try and then make our minds up. :D

Having cheese melted on Ryvitas for supper as we are out of bread then might indulge in a bit of choccie with a cuppa when I settle down to The Apprentice when DS gets in from work.

Take care everyone and stay safe.

Me neither. I eat mine in the suggested proportion for EE which is a third. And as I've said before I make it a third across the day. So my food consists of HEXs, third carbs, third meat/fish (probably barely as we have mostly small meat portions) and third (at least) SFs plus syns. I really don't believe in filling up on free food whether it's potatoes or anything else. The only thing I don't mind having extra is veg. I'm wondering if the new plan will be a bit more like Success Express or maybe we have to just exist on their new ready meals!:rotfl:

I couldn't do a third carbs & loose, I have to have minimal carbs.
Two HEb size portions are the maximum I can do.
The first one is a proper HEb - oats.
If I'm having a second it will likely be carbs in the form of beans, pulses or lentils preferably. Occasionally a HEb size portion of pots, pasta or rice.

ETA - I'm really looking forward to the new plan, I have high hopes for it.

I'm just curious. Like mildredd, I'm reserving judgement. It's different for me as I'm at target so don't need fast weightloss and EE suits me fine. I really CBA with weighing potatoes if that was needed.

Have a lovely time tomorrow mildredd, you sound very happy!

    Hi all
Like Maman im reserving judgement. I may resort to using the new plan for a couple of weeks before my awards ball but otherwise I'm sticking with EE I think.
Exercise is helping my mood which is good. Feeling quite good although hopefully that will show on the scales. It's our Xmas party this week- I got all done up last year and felt like a right nana- everyone else was wearing Christmas jumpers so I'm wearing mine this year. Admittedly my Xmas jumper is very nice- it's from Lipsy and is black and slinky with sequins on the front but it's still a Christmas jumper and I'll be wearing that with my jeggings I think :) minimal effort required :) plus I paid £30 for this dam jumper so I'm going to get some wear out of it!! :rotfl:
    Wednesday's food plan:
B: HEXB Scan Bran, 1/2 HEXA Laughing Cow Light blue cheese. Scrambled eggs, spaghetti hoops. Cup of decaf coffee with a little S/S as part of HEXA
L: Cherry Diet Pepsi Quorn with Uncle Ben's Sweet Thai Chilli Rice (1.5 syns) 2 apples. pint of NAS
T: 2 Quorn lamb grills, 2 Quorn fillets, 2 Quorn sausages (2 syns) sweetcorn. 2 kiwis, pint of NAS
S: cup of decaf with remainder of HEXA s/s, Curly Wurly (6 syns)
    Syns: 9.5
Body Magic: 15 miles on exercise bike
    Night everyone xx

Does this work? I figured quorn wouldn't cut it for those recipes. What type of quorn do you use?

I'm also with Maman in reserving judgement until I see what the new plan is like. Think I'll probably stick with EE as also at target (although following long weekend away in France, Belgium & Germany I'm sure I've gone out of top end:eek:) Have decided not to weigh this morning and will stick to plan until next week and will weigh then.

Having another on plan EE day today:

    B - satsuma & grapes
    L - LO sweet chilli prawn noodles - 2
D - ostrich burger (syns ?), SW chips, beans, salad

HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
HEB - Ryvitas for supper, butter - 5

Does anyone have any idea how many syns ostrich burger is (they are the ones from Iceland - took everything out of the box to fit them in the freezer and didn't check syns online before throwing the box away). They are over 80% meat so hopefully quite low syn.

  • Another 0.5 lb off this week.

Hope to catch up reading the thread soon, but I'm always in a rush at the moment.
  • I am +2lb, not a massive surprise and tbh after weeks and weeks of STSs I am just glad to see movement on the scales.

My mood still isn't 100% and I really struggled last night as I felt awful as the dog was crying and barking so woke wonder bairn then I couldn't get her settled again no matter what I tried so there was tears but...I am just hoping it gets better soon :/

Today the plan is to just get through the day as I have this annual charity lunch to go to, probably won't have much if anything for tea though as it's a three course meal this afternoon!

On the positive side I am upping my fluid content (granted todays it's with some orange juice this morning but I really really wanted some so I gave in)

Next Friday is work's Christmas party; no idea what I'll wear etc as nothing fits (may treat myself to a new, cheap dress) I'll be super good all week and have as few syns as possible to save them all for the meal - no idea what the menu is; it's one of those table-at-a-corporate-night jobs and the company hasn't published a menu as it just tells us 'food choices are to be made on the night'
