Got a bit narked with my consultant this morning. She posted that there's some people not coming because they're worried about gaining etc but you need to come no matter what. I was quite upset- I nearly texted her to say that my no show had nothing to do with any sort of gain, I genuinely was feeling yacky and I don't miss group unless I have good reason. And I think having dodgy guts and feeling headachy and lethargic is probably pretty good reason..

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have been aimed at you or anyone in particular... Lots of people give up about now as they see Christmas coming and kind of lapse a little with the thought of "starting again after Xmas"

Your consultant was just trying to be encouraging to members to let them know even if they put on between now and Xmas, it's best to keep going as no doubt people will put on less having a few off days than if they gave up completely.

You really shouldn't take it personally...

You're right of course Shala. However unfortunately due to the nature of my mental health issues I do always think it's aimed at me :( nothing I can do about that :( I realise now it was a genuine message.

:jvery well done on your 6st award annie! I'm delighted for you. And :Tto crabapple and Karleymarie.
I've shown wonderful restraint tonight. I took DGD to buy a fish supper as her mum was working late. I went in the chippy and bought nothing, drove her home sniffing the gorgeous smell of chips and then the smell lingered all the way home after I'd dropped her off. Then went home to SW chilli and rice. I was just sooo tempted to call DH and say I was bringing some for us or even buy some chips to go with the chilli. But I didn't!!:D

Sorry I forgot to report in on yesterday's group meeting. As expected I gained 1 lb so am now a pound under my 5 1/2 stone :(
I'm sure it will come off next week though, I had a couple lunches out plus our groups Xmas outing accounted for that gain. Could have been worse!

Here is what I found out about the planned changes:
There will no longer be super speed foods, although all fruit will still be free.
The new plan will be in addition to EE. So you will be able to mix the two but not on the same day.
The new but will be more protein based and sounds to me like lower carb:j:j. For example no bananas for free on the new one.
You can have 2 HEB on the new one, but not potato or rice.
The new plan is supposed to give quicker weight loss:beer:

That's about it for now, try to find out next Tuesday evening at next class.
Also can I be added to the chart please?
When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!

Super losses Crabapple and KarleyMarie and at this time of year, you should be well proud.:j

Annie, wow 6 stone, wish that was me. Hopefully by next Christmas, well done you, you must feel amazingly different. :j

Thanks for the chart Shala, love seeing all of us together like that :T

WI this morning, a storm is raging here. Heavy rain and strong winds, it sounds awful and I need to go out in it several times today.

Mrs Ryan, we got the same message on our facebook page: she has noticed people staying away, blah blah, please come to group, no judgement etc we are all in this together..... Hope you feel better soon x :grouphug:

    Time to face the storm.....

Many congratulations Annie, that's brilliant :j

Congrats on the loss also Karley, sorry I was a bit overexcited by my loss last night and didn't read back :o

Well done to Jock and Lois on SOTW and thanks to Shala for keeping us up-to-date.

I'm going to keep writing everything down this week - I'm bang on a stone now so anything I lose next week gets me a new number :D Very much looking forward to that. I had too many weeks with low losses that I knew were down to eating off plan too much rather than it being just what I had to lose. Don't mind small numbers if I know I did my best but it's annoying otherwise.
