Busy busy busy here and I've been in weightloss limbo for too long now...

Went to see nurse yesterday as I knew the pill they put me on (as a cost saving exercise compared to what I was on before) wasn't agreeing with me so she's changed me back and has acknowledge that it could well be something contributed to my sticking point (and I know that the way I've been feeling physically and emotionally has contributed to my low enthusiasm around food/healthy eating!)

Anyway I am already feeling a bit better and making slightly more of an effort today. It has gone like this:

Breakfast: Ready Brek (stand in HeB) made with milk (from HeA)
Lunch: mugshot and 2 choc digestives (8 syn! eep )
Mid afternoon: 5 choc from a tub of celebrations (these are 1.5 each I think? so that would be 7.5, 10 if they are to be counted at 2 :/) they were brought in to work so I had a few but have banished them from my desk now!
Tea: beef casserole with tons of veggies. Plus will probably add some extra veg as I will be cooking some up for wonder bairn

Does anyone know the syns of the Ragu Pasta & sauce packets? I have a cheese, ham and leek flavour and a cheese and broccoli flavour

    Already planning tomorrow:
Breakfast: Ready Brek (stand in HeB) made with milk (from HeA)
Lunch: going to make myself some tuna pasta salad tonight (tuna, pasta, mixed veg, little bit of cheese from HeA) to bring in
    Tea: lasagne and salad

Thursday I've just been asked to replace our chief exec at a 3 course business/charity lunch so:
Breakfast: ready brek (hEb) made with milk (from HeA)
    lunch: 3 course meal(!)
tea: going super light and free if I can eat after lunch! It will be rice and either chicken or tilapia! Though I doubt I'll be hungry for much after such a big sounding lunch. I may end up with just a mugshot!

    Friday:
Breakfast: ready brek (HeB) made with milk (from HeA)
Lunch: not really got time as I have to go and pick up wonder bairn and drop her home for bf getting back from camp. Probably tuna pasta or rice salad
Tea: bf will be back. I'm thinking of trying stuffed chicken breasts in the slow cooker (filled with cheese (from HeA) and spinach, wrapped in an extra lean bacon medallion. served with chips for him, mash and extra veggies for me

Well done for going to the nurse lush. I knew you hadn't been your usual bubbly, optimistic self lately. Hopefully you'll soon feel better with the new prescription.:)

That sauce is just 2.5 made up with water. Not bad for a cheese sauce. Let us know what it's like.
  • Thanks maman, I was kind of persevering as I only went on the new brand of pill a couple of months ago and thought as I have to run packets together maybe everything would settle down but I've felt like I've been permanently in that PMS stage where nothing goes right and you just feel run down and bloat-y and really just can't be bothered! Here's to a new start. Expecting a small gain tomorrow which may well knock me off my slinky for Santa challenge target but I'll persevere; everyone says losing weight is harder post baby!

I'm hoping the pasta and sauce is nice as I've found it in the local Poundworld on 3 for £1 so they will make a good standby to have in my draw at work for days like today when I've not planned ahead/had time to get anything at home :)

But new enthusiasm is now installed and I will go for it and hopefully drop enough weight to be happier and more comfortable in myself (and get back in pre-baby clothes!) then I will get wonder bairn baptised (much later than I wanted - she'll be almost 1!) and celebrate with a beautiful dress :)

Writing it all down has definitely worked for me

    3lb off :j

Our consultant told us tonight that we need to come and stay the week after Christmas as they are going to give us a present and it takes 10 minutes to explain. Wonder what that can be ;)

I'm amazed they aren't sticking the arm in and sticking the membership fees up whilst they are at to pay for these new books etc!!

:shhh: lantanna don't give them any ideas - it will probably only be a matter of time before they come along with that one. :D

I wish I knew wiz - I don't feel as though I have done anything differently to other weeks. I try to ensure I get lots of sfs, drink plenty and make sure I don't keep syns too low. ;)

Some fab losses.. Well done everyone :T

Have seen a comment on Instagram that EE is changing (will be even better apparently!) and a 'super option' that is going to give good losses.. Hmm, we'll see on that one :p
