I'm so happy :j:dance::j:dance::j:dance:
4lb loss this week Shala please
I didn't really find anything more about the changes - poster didn't give too much away other than existing members will get new packs between Boxing Day and 17th Jan (?) for free - whoopeeedooo.
I have put a ban on getting too many Christmas treats in too soon beanie. I won't be a total misery, they are starting to creep in now but trying to get things that don't really bother me like stollen (one of DH's favourite) and baclava (sp?) both DH and DS like this.
Sounds as though you have had a fab day durham. I went for a coffee in M&S this morning on my solo trip and looked at the scones but thankfully I didn't succumb to temptation - DH would have had one.
Freezing again here tonight. It was quite slippy this morning and I haaaaaate it when its icy.
Hope we have great losses this week as we head towards the end of this Challenge. Wonder what we will call the New Year Challenge  :rotfl::rotfl:

Hiya
Just a quick one tonight as its late. Didn't go to group as I'm on new meds and they're making me feel a bit yucky so I didn't want to risk it. I think my consultant thinks I'm deliberately avoiding group as she knows I've had a bad week but I was careful to assure her in the message it was down to genuine illness- she didn't even bother replying to my message which I thought was a little rude!
Anyway, day 1 of being 100% back on it. Not gone too badly.
Monday's food plan:
B: HEXB porridge with 180 ml HEXA milk, 0% peach Activia, pint of NAS
L: SW carbonara with 4 Laughing cow light blue cheese (remainder of HEXA plus 4.5 syns) 2 kiwis, pint of NAS
Snack: 2 bananas, 0% Activia, can of caffeine free Diet Pepsi
T: 2 Southern Fried Quorn burgers (5 syns) Linda McCartney R&RO sausages, steamed mixed veg. 2 Mini Milks (3 syns) pint of NAS
S: Apple, pint of NAS
Syns: 12.5
Body magic: 15 miles on exercise bike

Very well done b_e_g - awesome loss :T
Sorry you are feeling yuck MrsR but hope that the meds help you soon.
Glad you had a nice day durham. No point buying a dress just yet anyway as you'll be a much sleeker shape by April
My WI tonight. Just got to be good for today after a not bad week. I'm planning to continue with writing things down as I eat and totting up the syns (not organised enough to plan everything in advance!) as it helps me feel on track. Lets just hope that shows on the scales later
Not sure about these changes either, but I guess we'll have to wait and see exactly how things will work. I suspect if it's all a bit odd we'll continue doing what works for us:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

My weigh in today. Not too hopeful as I've had lunch out twice plus we had our groups Xmas dinner which involved a surplus of syns (or carbs as I like to call them ;-), I don't think there will be many losses at group this morning!
If I hear anything about the upcoming changes I'll let you know. When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -

Thanks, she got checked by the doctor yesterday and there is no infection, so we just need to keep going with the syrups, which seem to do nothing! She had this cough for about 4 weeks now and the temperature went up last week, it is not overly high, around 38-38,5, but still she cannot go to nursery, even though my OH wanted to send her this morning again!!!! (he doesn't work at the moment, so it is not a problem that he has to go to work and can't look after her!)
On another hand he hasn't spend a few days alone with his kids so far. And since I am going away next week (this will be my first time leaving kids overnight) he invited his parents to come over for that week... That means masses more work at home for me before I go in 4 days as our guest room is a so full of stuff that there is no way you can even reach the bed, not that you would be able to sleep on it even if you did reach it!
Never mind, hopefully they will be gone by the time I get back or leave next morning, as we are going to my family for Christmas and I hope to leave either sunday night or early morning Monday, depending on how quick I can get packed everything! maybe that will translate to body magic and give me a few pounds off!
And for this week I am pleased to report -3.5 lb loss!!!!!! So that is the holiday gain plus half a pound off!
Menu today:
B - soft boiled egg, a slice of HM panettone (5syns), coffee
L - salad with a bit of cheese (HeA), raisins, cranberries (HeB), apple. Maybe will add the Finn Crisp slices too, depends how hungry I feel.
D - not decided yet...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
I'm glad I don't go to SW classes, I'm just getting to grips with EE and super free foods and they're talking about changing it. I wish they'd leave things alone.
I first joined SW in 2001 and there were far more free foods including corned beef on red and macaroni cheese on green, both of which I used to eat and successfully lost weight.
I don't understand how EE will work without super free food. It won't make any difference to me though, I'll carry on with what I'm doing, it's working so far.

Nothing to stop you continuing on the EE plan, I intend to unless this new plan is loads better for me. Our consultant has been dropping hints
1. Syns on a lot of things are going up, especially takeaways, days of having a Chicken in Black Bean and boiled rice for 5 syns are over I think.
2. Much simpler - apparently people were getting confused with superfree and superspeed. I assume they'll keep superfree foods but call them something else.
I think I might give the new diet a go in the first week and see how it goes, if its better then maybe I'll stick with it.0 -
Got back from my long weekend away and definitely OFF plan! Had a sneaky weigh yesterday when we got back and have definitely put on quite a few pounds and definitely out of top end of target.
As I've only got today and tomorrow to try and get rid of some of it I think I'll probably not weigh on Thursday and then have a full week to stay on plan and try to shift it!
Having an EE day today:
B - scrambled eggs on toast
L - jacket potato with LO beef stew (which is 90% veg now!)
D - chilli squid & rice (from Curry Heaven book); side salad
HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
HEB - bread this morning
Don't have any syns planned for today but may have a pink 'n' white later (2.5 syns).
Will have some fruit during the day as well (once I've been shopping and bought some).
Food was really expensive in France, Belgium & Germany. Was pleasantly surprised in Germany as found a C&A (do you remember them from years ago in the UK?) and they had a good sale on so I bought some new t-shirts, a jumper & a hooded fleece. DH also bought some t-shirts & a jumper. The dearest thing we bought was DH's jumper at €12 (about £10!).

I still count chicken chow mein from the Chinese as 7 not what ever they ramped it up to.
Sorry but as far as I was aware I was losing weight eating it just because someone decided it was too low didn't actually change my meal?
Although saying that I'm just a pig and seem to be getting away with a lot weight wise - going for a few days 100% on plan this week including the superfrees and nas again have messed around for long enough time to put up or shut up I thinkStarted sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb
New Year New You Challenge - /6lb0 -
I hate change I am such a stick in the mud! No offence either but how hard can it be to differentiate between superfrees and superspeed??????????
The only good thing it will do is make me read the book again and try a week of the new plan as such and see what happens. The way I am going I will be needing to lose a stone after Christmas.
I really need to get a grip here and get something off before Christmas.
Dinner went in the bin last night - best not to talk about it really, it wasn't well - lets put it that way. Then I had cheese on toast
BEG - Congrats, its literally dropping off you!!0
